Also, that extra Megatron helmet isn't Animated Megatron's, it's Super Megatron's.
What do you mean?JelZe GoldRabbit wrote:And seriously? Super Megatron, with the two circles in the crest? In my defense I wasn't that far off then, as Animated Megs is based on him,

Woah, that's weird. Your post must have been edited since I meant to ask about this quote:JelZe GoldRabbit wrote:Sabrblade wrote:What do you mean?JelZe GoldRabbit wrote:And seriously? You mean the circles, or the analogy? If the latter, at least the helmet designs of Super Megatron and Animated (Earth Mode) Megatron are a match.
That still leaves Megatron's helmet... if it actually is Megatron's...

But we weren't arguing...

Sabrblade wrote:I'm not really sure how it's a homage to Animated Megatron since the homage in question only comes from the deco, which is Super Megatron-based. The shape wasn't in question.
Otherwise, we'd have to label the helmet a homage to Animated Megatron in every single issue it appears in since it's the standard Kre-O Megatron helmet, and no one's claiming the same for the Sharkticon Megatron helmet yet the only thing about that helmet that homages Sharkticon Megatron is just its deco.
Well, what is it about the deco of Animated Megatron's helmet that would make a Kre-O version of it different from the regular Kre-O Megatron helmet? Since the "SM" is the only thing on the helmet that points it to Super Megatron.JelZe GoldRabbit wrote:Sabrblade wrote:I'm not really sure how it's a homage to Animated Megatron since the homage in question only comes from the deco, which is Super Megatron-based. And I was talking from a deco point of view with the Kre-O helmets. I also said that between Animated Megatron and Super Megatron individually, the helmet designs match.

I have a fondness for that one, because I sympathise with First Aid, plus the Netherlands are in it. And it's not necessarily a false portrayal...
