I say just get the takara. In many cases, the Hasbro version will be about the same price. So no reason to wait the extra 3 years or so it takes for them to release it. I know I am buying this guy for sure, I just hope it is 10000 Yen or less. Also, all Hasbro MP releases for sought after characters have been a real pain to find, so just avoid the trouble and get him now.
While it is too bad that I just wrote a Best shockwave toys list ( ), I might just release it as a lead in to the MPs release. So it wouldnt be wasted effort, nor be too obvious as to what number one would be. Because this guy really seems to be miles ahead of any shockwave we have ever had. Also, I am extremely happy that this guy exists as I no longer feel the need to buy the G1 toy. This guys seems to be that toy with better proportions and articulation, which is all we have ever wanted. Looking forward to the revealed gun mode.

Was it around the same time as G2 Lambor? Plus some people got to see this last year when the first pics of Devastator leaked.
This looks good. The hip/crotch area looks a little silly, but other than that it looks good.
Really glad I sold off my Quakewave when I did.
