Well I am Australian. It's kinda what we're known for.

PS: You conveniently left out a shot of the back
I just mean that he looks super close to the cartoon model from many many angles, but not the back.
Pretty close with the Stand clipped on, though?

You mean they added "MP-28 Hot Rodimus" and "MP-29 Laserwave" (those are the official toy names, after all. We really shouldn't pretend that they go by the Hasbro names as it spreads a misnomer).

Not sure what you mean by pretending, but I'm not Japanese so I use the western names. (Which are the "real" names anyway, since these characters were created in America.
They're still Japanese-made products with the Japanese names written in English on the boxes.Cyberpath wrote:Sabrblade wrote:

Though being an international site, to avoid confusing their customers, Amiami is going for the American name.
I translated the romanized name they used, Shockwave is indeed called ンスフォーマー マスターピース MP-29 防衛参謀レーザーウェーブ.Defense Staff Laserwave (maybe for their domestic Japanese customers)

And if we really want to get technical, these physical objects aren't characters, they're toys. Japanese-made toys.

Drop it now. If people want to call him Shockwave, that's their decision. If they want to call him Jimmy, that's their decision. If they want to put a Barbie dress on him and call him Princess Jane, THAT'S THEIR DECISION.
What they don't need is you telling them otherwise. It's not hurting you if they do.
