You wanted Masterpiece Star Saber in color? Now you have Masterpiece Star Saber in color. Thanks to Tag Hobby, we get some nice pics of Star Saber in color as well as some unreleased prototypes such as Beast Wars Neo Unicron, Binaltech Black Widow, Classics Glyph, Detritus and the Porsche version of Alternators Jazz. For you Diaclone fans, there is also an impressive Diaclone display. We also get another look at Masterpiece Ultra Magnus and BAPE MP-10 Convoy. These we all on display at the Japan Transformers Expo.

Could very well be. Among the confirmed existing prototypes I see:

- BW Neo Unicron (named Neo Unicron)
- Binaltech/Alternator Jazz as a Porsche 986
- Binaltech Black Widow / Rumble? (ended up as BT Arcee)

I also spot:

- Blue Henkei Bumble
- A Swindle redeco of Universe Hound

That's the third Microchange Gun Robo. Two of the Gn Robo, the Walther P38 and M1910 Browning, were turned into Megatron and Browning but the third, a S&W .44 Magnum Revolver, was Microman only.

That diaclone display is wonderful, I even spotted the trainbots who didn't get released (in Japan) till the Headmasters toyline, although who's the red bot just to the left of powered convoy Magnus? Did diaclone have any fiction at all to go with it?

Diaclone did get somewhat of a story during the later years, basically humans versus the insectoid Waruder race. That's right: the Insecticons were bad guy mecha
That red robot is Powered Buggy, you can consider it an upgraded transforming Roller. He was omitted from all Transformer releases.

Thanks I've always wondered about diaclone, never expected that the insecticons were the main bars Seems a bit unfair when you line them up against each other.

That unicron, as impressive as it is, why does everyone go crazy about it? People talk about the Armada mold having it's planet shell on its back, Neo Unicron has a whole half of a planet on his back. I know it's the 3rd prototype of a unicron toy (I think at least), the robot mode is nice if you ignore the kibble but I think the one we actually got is better...Why do I get the feeling I've just painted a target on my back...

Yeah, Star Saber is pretty massive. And his 'shirt-cuffs' look huge. It's a bit of a shock to see him in his Playskool colors, but that's Star Saber. He still looks pretty awesome. I'm a little scared to find out what this guy is going to cost.

Whoa, they have a blue Optimus Minor on display there! I've got one of those !

They also have a very interesting looking Spittor repaint, a Tarantulas (Blackarachnia?) and what looks to be a Beast Wars Mutants Soundwave.
