Lockdown is of course a re-deco of the original Transformers Animated figure, while the Insecticons (Bombshell & Skrapnel) hail from the Legends Class Generations/Combiner Wars lines. Lockdown aside from deco remains unchanged, but the bugs have been slightly remolded in order to incorporate the circle TAV logo sticker on their chests. This development may turn some off, the unified deco of the pair still pleases this reporter. See the pics below, and stay tuned to Seibertron.com for all your Transformers News!

Really kills the figures doesn't it? Worse is the knowledge this comes from TakaraTomy. You'd expect this sort of thing from Hasbro.

Pardon my ignorance, but is the code scanner game thing even available in Japan? Because if they don't, the usage of those stickers is even more ridiculous.

Yeah, me too. Both companies care about the brand and have their own agendas with products they want to put out and in what way. And it's not like Takara is the be all end all, after all they were the ones who came up with the Microns which is a concept very few like. Oh sure Takara, give Megatron a gorilla micron I have to piece together myself instead of a nice cannon.

Those are the first wave of the Gacha Arms Microns. Little capsule toy Arms Microns that were sold in Japanese vending machines. The little Autobot ones are Autobots (of course) and the little animal ones are Decepticons.william-james88 wrote:Also, while I have you here Sabr, could you explain to me what these are in terms of toy/fiction?

Best to think of OPB and BBS as separate dudes from the bigger versions who just happen to resemble the bigger versions for some reason or another.william-james88 wrote:Sabrblade wrote:

So that is actually Optimus that turns into a gun for...who?
