Aw. Bummer with the Ultra Magnus deco. I'm pretty much a shoe-in to buy a Junkion in standard Junkion colors.

Battle Blade Bumblebee suffers the same fate for Movie Advanced, so it has happened before.

No, its comparable to Deluxe. Warrior class in this toyline is all comparable to the deluxe class. He will be as tall as warrior (deluxe) bumblebee.

reminds me of the original RiD line, it had new molds along with molds from previous series. But im shocked that takaras RiD figure look like hasbros, normally theres a pretty big difference but with these its minimal. The repaints look great but the RiDs look cheap. On another note Wonder what lockdown will look like, probably AoE colors.

I think I just found the source of inspiration for Junkion's deco:

"Eco Wreck-Gar" from the Transformers Cards card series used in Sega's Transformers Animated: The Chase and Transformers Animated: The Shooting games.

Definitely liking the look of a lot of these, especially those Dinobots, but I just can't bring myself to start buying things again just because I like the way they look.

Garbage trucks actually do tend to be blue in Japan. The Junkion and that Wreck-Gar both share the same source, but probably aren't directly inspired by one another.

I know it may sound odd to the youngsters, but the TF Adventures/RID Nemesis Prime seemed vaguely familiar to me, like some old toy or something from an old TV show. Then it hit me, it reminds me of the FLAG Command Trailer that KITT used to ride in, in the 80's show Knight Rider! From the looks of Nemesis Prime, it would have made an awesome Autobot!

Some have expressed surprise at seeing figures from TFA as part of this line. I'm not surprised at all. TFA was awesome, and had some great figures. They brought a renewed synergy between animation model design and actual figure design. And, they were FUN.

Good to see some of them back!

That it's in Ultra Magnus-esque colors. He was hoping for a Junkion toy to be in Junkion colors (brown, orange, tan, red, yellow, gray, etc.).

I'd really like a Detritus (name spelling?) out of this mold. Has a snowball's chance of happening, but hey, non-standard Junkion, still a reasonable alt mode for a Junkion.

But maybe it is Ultra Magnus - you know from that alternate ending to the original Transformers Movie where Magnus is definitely and completely killed by Galvatron, and rather than reassemble him in a nonsensical sleight of hand, the Junkions just piece-meal his body back into a macabre suit of powered armor for Wreck-Gar to wear.

Hey, Minimus Ambus sort of looks like Wreck-Gar, doesn't he... :-?

Oh my gosh what if Dominus Ambus **is** Wreck-Gar, and now because of the time-stream change, instead of being a robot that talks like a TV, he's a TV that talks like a robot!!!
