Evil clone... hmm, I can dig it. Especially since I already have Classics Nemesis Prime with the backstory of being created by Straxus after he managed to remove the original prime from the body.

That vehicle mode is great in that colour too. So wierd how much better this looks in those colours, I thought the original looked derpy :-?

Maybe the Black Legendisc brought actual life into that chassis and upgraded it? He even retained part of his original title:

Or, maybe it doesn't fit into the fiction, and Takara Tomy just wanted to get more use from the mold, and they knew people will by a black version of any OP mold, so they made this.

And Takara is usually decent at tying in their toy bios with the main fiction, even if the result is just something behind-the-scenes or offscreen of said fiction.

In this case, the characters connected to the Black Legendisc could potentially have some experience in these forms occur outside of the cartoon's episodes. After all, there's nothing in the show thus far to contradict this from happening later on.

It'd be pretty sick to see a fiction where, oh i dunno, Nova prime amasses an army of nemesis primes (classics/prime/BH/G2/neog2laserprime/that black mastadon repaint prime and the tons of others) and uses them to colonize the universe or some crap... a prime per star system. Sometimes it's fun to make up your own fiction, even if your the only one to enjoy it on your shelf, haha.
