But Takara's Armada Megatron, however, is a little better looking than Hasbro's.

Yeah, kinda liking Takaras. Also, I'll have an easier time getting this one.

You sure about that? Black Convoy will be an on-show exclusives (like SDCC exclusives are) while Scourge is a TFSS figure. Which one is more rare?

I'm kinda OK with the Takara version, as it'll be cheaper for me to import here than the club version, and I like the extra red accents around the shouldersSabrblade wrote:Fun Pub's Scourge has the more show-accurate shoulder paint:
Takara's Black Convoy seems to instead just have solid gray (or bizarrely gray and silver) shoulders instead of gray and black.
I will admit that Takara's has the extra stripes on the side of the truck mode, but it's not a major loss. Nor are the Combatron symbols on his shoulder that much of a bonus since the guy never had those on him outside of scenes toward the end of the series where he was trying to control Fort Max/Brave Max.
And the bright neon teal of Scourge seems to stand out a lot more than the more muted teal on Black Convoy. In fact, while it could just be the image, all of the colors on Black Convoy seem more muted compared to Scourge's colors.

Isn't all that extra red...prjkt wrote:I'm kinda OK with the Takara version, as it'll be cheaper for me to import here than the club version, and I like the extra red accents around the shoulders

It's funny cause, I knew the light piping was there but totally forgot about it when I looked at my Scourge.Cobotron wrote:That's what friends are for.
What a crap out by the club for getting rid of it. And you want how much for that figure?
