Well, mot really sure, nightbird was $30, but the rid warrior figures are $26, and these have additional vehicle-things, so I'm actually not terribly sure

Just going by TFSource's prices the previous round of Legends up to Armada Super Starscream were $30 while the Headmasters are $36. So yeah, the price is up now. I'm thinking most of the export shops are going to be in the area of 3,000JPY after the discounts.

I'm SO happy that Takara is doing Galvatron as a headmaster. Not because I want him, if hardhead is anything to go bu I think I'll be happy with Hasbro (too saturated looking I prefer the duller tones) but because all the people who were bitching and complaining that Takara was going to "fix Hasbros mistake" by making him a headmaster were wrong

I'll stick with the Hasbro version (mainly cos I like the faceplate on HH more)

I wonder if since Skullcruncher comes with the dino/dragon thing Grax has Crashbash's legs? CB has those teeth sculpted into his legs, it'll look strange in dino mode without teeth on Grax's legs.

Okay, wallet....are you going to put up a fight? On the other hand, it might be hard to justify purchasing both Takara and Hasbro to the accountant...

I don't think they look all that different at a glance. I haven't compared pics side by side yet though.

Galvatron's the only one that looks noticibly different in terms of decco, but I always much preferred a more purple look for him than lavender, so i'll probably take the hasbro option personally.

Odlly I'm normally all about show accuracy over toy accuracy, so theres no basis whatsoever for me preferring hardhead's new bonce. The definitive version of him in my head has always had the faceplate. I just loved the look of the toy box art character models from the headmaster era onwards. Maybe my show accuracy loyalty only goes as far as season 3!

I'd much prefer the toy/headmasters look on cerebros though. So if takara unveil some significant retooling on their fortress/cerebros then it'll be a case of swings and roundabouts for my wallets.

Between the minimal paint differences and price it makes it so much easier to just stick with Hasbro.

But isnt the price difference because these come with the extra titan master vehicle? Also, we have absolutely 0 indication of the Hasbro price so how can anyone know if this is truly more expensive?

And the special pre-order price on anime-export lasts till the 25th of March, so that's perfect

Even if the deluxe figures went up to $20 a piece it would still be cheaper since the titan master/vehicle sets are going to be $5 a piece. And with buying both you get an extra head on top of it being cheaper.
