Come on man let it go. That horse has died, decomposed, been reincarnated, lived a full life and died again. You can stop beating it now.

Get used to it. Hellscream isn't gonna let go what he doesn't like.
Just went back and looked again at the vehicle mode for LG Blurr. It looks really striking! I kinda forgot how good it looked.
I just wish the gun was silver like the Hasbro one.

He's the Blurr the fan base deserves, just not the one it's going to get right now.

Her transform mode in the G1 show kinda reminds me of Blurr too.

I don't really see why not, it looks the part in vehicle mode, and the bot mode has a slightly feminine feel to it, there's been rumblings about a nautica from blurr, so why not more fembots? I'm game

Oh snap, your pointing that out just made me realize something brilliant (that is, if the brilliant thing turns out to actually be true).grimdragon2001 wrote:ok, so it looks like the Takara Twincast titanmaster is actually blue. nice touch

Wolfman Jake wrote:Takara Tomy's version of TR/TL Blurr is almost complete perfection, like he walked right out of the Sunbow cartoon and into our Classics collection. Beautiful!
Since he's already been retooled into Brainstorm, and another retool of Blurr as Nautica from IDW is likely on the horizon, I'm hesitant to get behind yet ANOTHER retool for Elita-1, though it does look like a fantastic opportunity, given her onscreen alt mode from the original cartoon. Maybe, if Nautica turns out to be an extensive retool, to the point that very few parts are shared at all, like we've seen with some of the better CW/UW molds (for instance, Rook and Swindle), I'd get behind another use of the same base "skeleton" to get one more iconic female Transformers character in the mix.

If they remold it like Victorion's individual bots as far as having thinner arms and all that jazz, I'd be all for it too.I just hope they retool the pelvis, hip, and feet sections a bit too. However, I am not sure how they'd make a fake head section on top for her since hers was kinda big, and it's supposed to fit in the legs. Also, I am not sure how they'd do the chest section for robot mode. Maybe they'll retool that section altogether, so that the windshield section is part of the sled piece, and the car roof section attached to the windscreen becomes the breast section? It'd be best if she doesn't have a windscreen for a chest.

Same here. Hasbro's for the win. The G1 cartoon colors of the Takara one just doesn't fit the G1 toy homaging head-sculpt. Hasbro's Blaster wins by a long-shot I think. I also am a huge updated G1 toy fan, and don't particularly care that much for the cartoon versions a lot of times, even though that Takara Blurr is catching my eye pretty well. I love the G! toy look for both Hasbro's Blaster, and their Soundwave. They just look brilliant. Also, Ryan can have an updated Lost-and-Found Soundwave!

Hasbro's version is a very nice homage to the original toy, but I think more people were longing for the cartoon accurate appearance. Both are good for what they are.
Except, Takara isn't treating this as Blaster's cartoon body, but instead as a new body he got after the cartoon.SillySpringer wrote:If Takara wanted to go for the cartoon look, they should've at LEAST retooled the helmet for Blaster to not have the mask.![]()

And I've already explained/speculated as to what Takara might use the visor helmet for.
