Well, dont know if you know this but a good part of the reprolabel set is to add details to his inner legs.... which Takara glued shut. So the reprolabels set is better for the Hasbro version than the Takara, which cant use many of its stickers.

Woot! Just got in a shipment from TFSource today! I've now got Transformers Legends Blaster, Rewind with Nightbeat, Wheelie with Go Shooter, and Weirdwolf! I love them all!

Weirdwolf is ARMED to the TEETH. Thanks to the Apeface repaint included, he's got three weapons all together, but can't hold all of them at once. I don't even see a good way to store a third weapon on his robot mode. For now, I'm pretending that the Weirdwolf-colored Apeface is actually B.O.T. He's sitting on the Decepticon shelf.

Rewind is very nice. A perfect representation of the character. I had already picked up the Hasbro Rumble version of the mold, so there weren't any real surprises, but the figure itself in robot mode makes for an excellent cartoon-accurate version of Rewind. Now, let's hope Takara comes through with an Eject too!

Wheelie is great as well. He's so much better than the "Legend" version we got for Universe 2008. The coloring is spot on for the original cartoon as well. It's nice that even he is compatible with Titan/Head Masters as well. Now I wish I hadn't sold off my GDO Deluxe Wheelie a few years ago so I could give him that slingshot accessory.

Blaster is fantastic. Getting everything into place for "Device Deck" mode is a bit rough. It's very fiddly, the tolerances are just a bit off when you fold in the base mode ramps, and nothing stays tabbed in very well if you so much as glance at it. But it looks like Blaster to a T. The base mode is kinda fun to fool around with too. But the may draw for me is the robot mode. He's Blaster all the way! My only complaint is the dopy visor on the helmet piece. Could have done without that. I wasn't going to put Blaster on my Classics shelf initially, because of his size, but I changed my mind when I got him in hand. He's just THAT awesome! Yeah, he looks a little big, but paired with Rewind, he looks fantastic! I'm looking forward to Soundwave now too, even if he'll dwarf Megatron AND all the seekers.

I too love my Legends Wolf. He's so nice.

And you can hip holster his sword. The pegs on the side of his tail serve no other purpose that I can see, but it goes perfect in those pegs on his robot hips. So he can have all 3 weapons on his robot mode at once.

That's adorable. I kinda wanted Legends Hardhead for Tankette, but £30 for a deluxe is just too much.

I just hope a 3P company makes an adorable legends-sized transforming Tankette (with a robot mode). I'd buy one.

Freaking called it. No matter how much it does or doesn't look like him, if Hasbro releases a lionformer; Takara turns it into Lio Convoy.
At least this one looks a lot more like him and actually has his face unlike that disastrous Thundertron repaint.

I know it sounds like I'm being negative but this thing looks absolutely beautiful. Too bad the price tag's so high (due to, of course, being an exclusive) otherwise I'd be thinking very hard about it.

I wonder what his bio will say. The last new Lio Convoy toy we got (excluding the Legend Commander Collection figure) had a bio that described him as the cartoon version having changed his name twice and having dimension-hopped from the Japanese cartoon universe circa post-Beast Wars Neo into the Prime universe.

They are. Its name is Alpha Trion.

In other words, this seems to be Takara's way of releasing the Alpha Trion mold in the Japanese market, apparently wanting it to not be Alpha Trion.

i basically answered that question right after i posted. they might release it as a convention exclusive

Looking closely, it seems to have the plates at the side that the Wave 3 Voyager Optimus does.
Unsurprisingly since they'd likely not release that mold as Optimus and just Octane (and probably Scourge somewhere down the line), so they're finding a use for that face like they did with Convobat.

Its not exclusive, its just a normal retail release of the legends line. its only expensive because the yen is high and TFSource passes their higher costs onto us. The toy is really only 30-35 quid in Japan, which is the same price you get hasbro voyagers at in Scotland, right?

So they're switching out Sovereign for Diac? Makes sense, as Apex is already in use for Super Ginrai. Shame though, I'd have loved to see a Daburu (read: White Leo) retool for him :lol:

I'd say no because he's already represented in the line in the form of Galvatron's Titan Master Nucleon. Unlike the US portrayal, in the Legends manga he actually is Megatron, having popped out of his Leader Class body.

That all depends on if they're going to include either Brawn toy in the Legends line, though.
