Kind of out of character, Takara is generally very good with details and cartoon-accuracy. Maybe they thought that he'd look too much like "Stylor" with the all-red limbs. I might paint it myself after it gets here.

Or maybe the purple limbs were gangmolded with other parts on the Transtector that needed to be purple.

Either way, Sakamoto can justify the limb color change in the fiction if he feels a need to do so.

With a new image from their @TF_pr Twitter account, Takara Tomy show off the full beast Headmaster line-up from the Transformers Legends line, as LG34 Mindwipe joins Weirdwolf/Wolfwire and Skullsmasher/Skullcruncher, and the three Titan Masters just chill out. Check out the image below!

Just checked my vintage Mindwipe. The purple indeed has a bit more red than Ratbat's purple as comparison (since I still haven't received my TL Wipe I can't really make a definite conclusion yet but based of the Takara image, Wipe's HM seems more like Ratbat purple. Emphasis on "seems" because I don't trust PC images to actually render the real thing accurately..........just see how different G1 UM is from his images.

You know, I noticed a trend with the names of the Crashbash drone redecos:

バトラ batora: can be translated as "Butler"
サーバント sābanto: can translated as "Servant"

As in, they're based on words for service jobs. Anybody think those are the intended names, or if there's a pun behind it?

Could be as simple as them being paired with Headmasters.

Takara Mindwipe looks great, I'm tempted to replace my TR one. The red they added really sells it along with the correct limb colours. Love the Headmaster show but the whole transector kinda falls apart with me on the animals. It makes sense that the autobot master guy would drive their vehicle alt modes, but some of the stuff with the decepticon animals alt modes doesnt work as one individual as opposed to the Rebirth symbiosis set up, to me.

On another Legends note, I'm very excited that my Takara Chromedome is about to ship.

Love the Headmaster show but the whole transector kinda falls apart with me on the animals. It makes sense that the autobot master guy would drive their vehicle alt modes, but some of the stuff with the decepticon animals alt modes doesnt work as one individual as opposed to the Rebirth symbiosis set up, to me.

Think of it as the Decepticons piloting ferocious killing machines rather than armed transport vehicles.

this is the one i must have. put aside money during Thanksgiving thinking it came out in November (TF Source lied), but that went to Fort Max instead. Luckily holiday season paychecks are usually good, so here is hoping for a Ginrai for Christmas, or New Years given how long TF Source takes to get their import toys
