Not quite. Skullcruncher has those tail halves in plain sight while Skullsmasher has the front claws clearly hanging off his arms and both have visible rear crock legs. Weirdwolf and Wolfwire hide all of their animal parts behind them, they could just as easily have turned into vehicles for all anyone knew.

But doesn't Hasbro also show this in their instructions for the titan master packs? Are the configurations any different? Give us an example if that's the case, I'd be curious to see it.
Weirdwolf's transtector is completed, but as he's going on about destroying the Autobots and conquering the world, he's interrupted by the transtector licking him, revealing itself to be alive! Tarantulas explains that he's not alone, Skullcruncher's transtector being a living being as well, and asks Weirdwolf to remember to take his "Wolnosuke" out for walks. But walking a giant robot wolf is hard and it ends up running off, leaving Weirdwolf to put up "lost pet" posters around the city. He runs into Hardhead and Chromedome (still stuck in Batora), out drinking after work, and the two drunks end up accidentally throwing his posters in a river.
As Weirdwolf swears vengeance against the Autobots, his partner drone Rarigo arrives and beats them up for him, removing Chromedome from Batora in the process. The gorilla uses drawings to explain that Wolnosuke has been found, and Weirdwolf is happily reunited with the transtector, combining with it and telling it they'll never be apart again. With the transtector, Rarigo, and Batora at his disposal, he sets out to defeat the Autobots... but is still unable to control Wolnosuke, who immediately runs off again with him in tow.

They were stuck in customs for over three weeks, I think the guys there wanted to have a play with them as well![]()
I'm super happy with my purchase. But I'll have to see where I'll buy my next Titan Class figure, cause shipping for all of this was around $150

The Legends version, however, I think it has too much bright yellow. Not sayino it's a bad figure, I'm just saying that the colors kind of hurt my eyes. TR version is fine though. Also, can anyone tell me what the blue things on his shoulders are? Are they exhaust ports? Missile launchers? Blue Man Group PVC pipes?

This the TLegends and not the TR thread. And the yellow is just the same. You can't tell the color by just the PC monitor image unless you actually have it on hand.
The only difference is quality cosmetic. Hb version has a blotchy silver disc paint job on both his shoulders. I checked that in all the TRU samples in my place. The sword/tail has a red color over the yellow in TL and that silver patch on his shins. The heads are both kick ass in TL and TR, with the latter even more menacing.
The gray is more cleaner in the TL. As for the shoulder things, its a homage from the original which actually folds up and is hidden (more or less missile pods similar to Starscream's cluster bomb rack (pardon the pun) on his chest as seen in that Fire in the Mountain episode.
