Via the official Takara Tomy Transformers Twitter account, we have a look at the packaging for the upcoming Legends LG31 Super Ginrai figure, the Japanese retooled release of the Titans Return leader class Powermaster Optimus Prime, which will combine with LG42 Godbomber. Check it out below!

Godbomber appear to have combiner pegs. Would be interesting attaching them to a combiner.
Also wonder how god ginrai scales with a Combiner

Super Ginrai being the same size as a Combiner would make sense actually considering he was the same size as King Poseidon.

They might be the same height, but they sure arent the same price. Takara is pricing God Bomber even below their standard leader price point (so cheaper than Soundwave).

Ginrai (Prime) looks cool as usual. God Bomber just looks kinda dorky and the combined mode is awful. I suppose great if you liked the original one but I never did. I just want Prime. I probably can't afford it though cos christmas and other bills and expenses have hit my bank balance hard.

Well, that's disappointing and also a little strange for them to be just plainly mentioning Hasbro's version without any real comparison.

I wasn't expecting the same height either, thought maybe slightly taller than voyager size...

On the pricing difference, I wonder if that's because it's a "simpler" toy - not as good stand alone as the others perhaps? Also, its alt-mode and main gimmick require the purchase of Ginrai in addition to make it worth while?

They're probably just giving acknowledgement of the original TR version of the mold to show what Takara started with as a base for Super Ginrai, done for the sake of merely being professional.

As though to say "This Super Ginrai toy would not have been possible if not for the existence of Hasbro's Titans Return Powermaster Optimus Prime figure. Here's what that version looked like."

So was there any info on who Godbomber's head's robot mode is supposed to represent? That's still the last question mark on this figure.

HLJ generally has more pieces available once their stock arrives. Not always. And if the item is hot the renaming stock can get snatched in a day or two.

HLJ keeps the discounted price even after release.

Right now it says 8,500 yens because the item is on "Order Stop" but once/if it becomes available again it will go back down to 6,800 yens.

(Also, it's worth checking up the page from time to time, because sometimes people cancel their order, making the item available to pre-order again.)

If it's sold out amiami then its sold out unless they get cancellations or damaged box stock. Similar to Chromedome there.

Some sites like hobbysearch will have him at a higher price post mass release (no more discounted price) or less discounted price like in amiami.

And next time, pre order early. I noticed that Ginrai stocks at amiami held up strong until the Godbomber unit got recently released.

I don't know I like Hasbro's powermaster prime with apex better. Hasbro can produce an Optimus Prime that doesn't require another robot to look awesome.

How about Transformer's Prime's Miko. She has plenty of experience in facing adversity, provide moral boost in the heat of the battle. Her friendship with Bulkhead will prove she can overcome any odds and
her skill with the apex armor will make her more then qualified for God Ginrai's third pilot.
