IIRC Takara's recent Microman-esque figures they did with the Alternity GT figures had good face detail. It's why I'd prefer a Microman figure to a Joe figure- Hasbro's ability to paint human faces is highly variable.

BBTS got God Bomber in today so I hope to have it and Artfire by the weekend, I doubt it. Interesting point, apparently today was when Amazon Japan was getting the figure in too. For those who care I did a review of the Takara exclusive set of the Hasbro heads.

Once again courtesy of Planet Iacon, we have new images of the upcoming Takara Legends Leader Sixshot, Voyager Broadside, and Deluxe Doublecross and Misfire, the latter 2 of whom comes with new Targetmasters! These images come to us from the Tokyo Toy Show, and even show Doublecross and Misfire in prototype form along with their painted forms. You can check out these pictures below, and be ready for official images sometime in the near future!
EDIT: we have added new images of Misfire's Targetmaster, Sixshot's new helmet, and an image of 2 unseen headmasters. There is a rumor that these 2 headmasters are meant to be Minerva and Cab. Check them out and speculate below!

Yeah, this is bizarre. And I am so for it! Nice to see Broadside comes with Repugnus and a non-transparent gun. Misfire looks as fine as his Hasbro counterpart and I think I prefer Hasbro's Sixshot

Yup, helmet's new. Hasbro's doesn't have the... cheekguards(?) going as inwards as Takara's, and the jutting-out forehead is smaller.

Yeah I jumped over and ordered him right after seeing his look. I'll be grabbing the Hasbro one for the time being and to support but I like the way misfire looks.
Sixshot though...nah. I had tha G1 as a kid and the Hasbro one is just fine. He's everything I wanted and is perfect to me. Plus I shelled the $15 for the Dr Wu kit for the gun fillers swords and new helmet and honestly I think Wu's helmet looks best out of all three.

Some sights are reporting as it's going on that Cab and Minerva will only be released in a god Ginrai set. It will be a two back with Legends super Ginrai and God Bomber and include Cad and Minerva

Who knows maybe we'll get them from Hasbro. 2 more sets to go and if we get more waves of Titan masters it could happen. Takara has been sharing a lot in the last couples years whenever they do their own thing.

I'm not. They've never retooled any previous triple changers and just because fans don't like it doesn't mean takara wouldn't. Takara did engineer broadside after all.

If Cab and Minerva are only available in a God Ginrai boxed set, I'm hoping it's a chromed and painted up to the eyeballs special edition of that figure and/or a "Fire Guts" repaint. Then I wouldn't feel completely shafted.

Most of the three toys in this range are triple changers and Takara has remolded Ginrai and Sixshot, to name a few.
