I'm mainly interested in Ginrai and don't need 2. It's tempting to stick with the Takara set, but doesn't really seem worth it, especially compared to the Hasbro set. Decisions!

From all the Titan return/ Takara headmasters we have so far, what bodies could be a good stand in for Minerva and Cab?

I doubt anything could be used for Cab given he's a fire engine. Your best bet really would be a major custom of Kup.

I feel Breakaway with some repros could be used for Minerva, just like Shuta.

Yeah, I though about Gateway for Minerva (with reprolabels or other sticker set). Maybe G2 Optimus for Cab? It's not a fire engine but it's a red truck. :-?

Aah; I figured you'd wanna keep em all the same size. I suppose Optimus could work, but has there ever been a long-nosed Fire Engine cab?

I don't think there ever was a long nosed Cab. That being said, maybe the upcoming Orion Pax headmaster could be a good fit.

I'm actually working on a custom Minerva right now, Using a spare Grax (Skullsmasher's Titanmaster) combined with Ptero. Still need to paint it but so far so good

It does seem to be the best body for her out there right now. I will probably hunt for one as well once I have the titan master from the God Ginrai set.

I honestly can't believe Breakaway is turning out this useful - first Siren and Shuta, now Minerva. Maybe I should welcome more almost-wholly-white bland redecos :lol:

Indeed! I really hope Reprolabels come up with sets for repurposing Gateaway/Breakaway as Minerva and Go Shuta. The headmaster gimmick and the fact they are selling Titan masters on their own is perfect for repurpossing figures. I kind like that aspect of it (although I would have prefered a real Minerva and Go Shuta release, with their own bodies and all).

I put in my preorder at TFSource. So between this set, the original legends releases and the Hasbro box sets I'll have 3 God Ginrais... On the bright side I'll be able to compare all three and pick the best set or combination of the two and sell of the rest.

I finally watched a video on God Bomber. While it looks cool, it does not look like a fun transformation to God Ginrai. So yea, definitely don't need more than 1. I'm not keen on having more than 1 Ginrai either.

Yeah...I had a similar reaction today when I realised I was going to spend another 200$ for something I already have only to add to very small figures to my collection...

I'm glad my God Bomber didn't ship yet & I was able to cancel him. I have no reason to own more than one of him.

Assuming I manage to get the GG set in time (which given current IRL shenanigans seems unlikely) I'm going to use the power of Shapeways to convert non-Headmaster molds into bodies for them. I'm thinking of grabbing a CW Hot Spot for Cab/Hosehead, and using my broken Animated Arcee for Minerva, both repainted of course. Their heads won't have to actually detach for transformation (though Hosehead's HM could ride in his bucket if he wants) but that hardly matters.

As far as existing TR molds, Getaway is far too manly for dainty little Minerva IMO. Or really any Fembot. Jesus, HARDHEAD would make a better Fembot. As for Hosehead/Cab...I got nothin'.

For Minerva, I'm not sure she need to be very feminine. If I remember correctly from the cartoon, she basically took a genderless autobot body (Transtactor I think they called them?) and made it her own. I still think Breakaway will be a good fit.

Well her original toy was a redeco of Nightbeat. However, she looked like this in the cartoon:

I wouldn't mind if we got a Road Rage/Tracks type release of a Nightbeat that was then heavily retooled into Minerva. But as is I'm either going to get the official Minerva head or resculpt/paint a Nightbeat into her head, and make a replacement neck joint for my broken Animated Arcee. Once I sort her forearm situation anyway.
