So yo want Takara to create a separate modl, one for the wind shields and one for the cab? Might as well turn it die-cast like the original (also will have paint chipping)

I thought about this....but even more about more room for factory paint errors and sloppy lines or blotches of paint by the windows. Im a frequent takara buyer and while many times I get a perfect paintjob, ive gotten duds more than once. Im glad I got the first release. I dont care about random chrome or headmasters without proper bodies to put them on.

Depends on how durable the paint is. TF paint seems to fall into one of two categories: Stronger than steel and will not chip unless you're actually trying to wreck it (Galaxy Force Galvatron) or so weak that looking at it funny will make it peel (MP-36 Megatron, the black detailing on ROTF scout class Dead End, etc). There is no middle ground.

It would have made more sense, IMO, to mold the windows as a separate clear piece that fits behind the red plastic of the cab (HasTak has done this in the past- IIRC Energon Barricade does it with his cab) but that would have required extensive retooling. Hopefully it'll be fine, but in any event, be careful with him.

Oh those are nice. I would love to get this shiny God Ginrai as the centre piece of a masterforce shelf. Which would be almost all customs. Lol.

Every month we get a snippet of what will come next from Takara and now that we have all the stock images for the most recent Legends reveals, such as Misfire, it is now time for more announcements. As previously hinted, Targetmaster Slugslinger is one of these anouncements, completing the trio. He is LG-55. Below you will see the upcoming Legends coded with numbers 54-57 along with a reissue of Masterpiece Black Convoy (MP 10B). This was found on the Planet Iacon Facebook page. Also as predicted, there is still no sign of redecos in the Legends line, so still no Lightfoot.

And no "Battle Convoy" version for the Octane mold? Most called that too btw It looks like TakaraTomy got the regular trademark for Octone back. Back in Henkei, the character's name was "Destron Octone".

Or retool it with a Prowl/Bluestreak head. You'll know what I'm talking about

If Takara is going ahead with Octane for release in the Legends line, I hope Blitzwing is announced soon too. I want that special Takara touch to fix up some of the Hasbro paint apps to make a great G1 cartoon accurate rendition of the character. Hasbro's version is good, but not perfect, with its thick purple paint job on the face and wrong colored tank cannon.

I wonder if they'll bundle a Targetmaster with Perceptor? That'd make sense, right? Like Doublecross he's a bit of an odd-one-out Deluxe in this line and they need to dump the Targetmaster on someone.
