Can't quite tell if Sonic Bomber is all new or likewise uses a preexisting mold (maybe Misfire?) as a base.

This is incredible. Probably gonna be around $200, but dang, I think I need that
Just a guess regarding Sonic Bomber's mold. It could be a different jet, or maybe even an all new mold. Hard to tell from that pic, frankly.Seibertron wrote:Where is Misfire in that mess? I don't see his mold re-used. I definitely see Overlord and Twin Twist though.

He is in the front, the black jet component of Big Powered. You can match Misfire's cockpit.

The arms are the same as well.

I actually agree that it's a mess but hey, it's a gray model. I bet color will help. As is, the G1 combined vehicle mode is cleaner.

The arms are the really noticeable part. Other than that, there isn't much, but it looks like that front jet shares the Misfire arms

Which is a shame because Star Saber would have been absolutely perfect for the "evolution" gimmick in Power of the Primes, mixed with a leftover Titan Master gimmick from Titans Return. He would have been an amazing "transition" figure between the two series. Hopefully they've got something really awesome planned for ol' Star Saber and Deszaras.
Conversely, the existence of both this new set and the current God Ginrai set makes me even more glad that the MP Star Saber figure scales so well with the Generations/Legends toys, being the height of a CW Combiner like how Star Saber was combiner-sized in the cartoon.Skritz wrote:Seibertron wrote:Skritz wrote:This is glorious and only make Star Saber's absence from a main line all the more grating, unless he's coming up in Siege. Yeah yeah I know, blame people like me who voted for a monkey. We didn't know that was going to be the Leader gimmick when the vote was around.
