You know, if this was a year ago and canada was still on par with the states, these prices would be really good. I always thought takaa prices were 100% higher than US prices, but this price sounds perfectly fine to me due to the extra deco and import charges.

I recently got my hands on LG Arcee, Chromia, Windblade, and Jetfire and I have nothing but greatness to say about them. They all look amazing in every way over their Hasbro counterparts.
I especially love Jetfire and despite the thread that referres to Hasbro's version as pure unsatisfactory, I can honestly tell you Takara's version is just stellar! Regardless of the flaws they are totally out weighed by everything that is great about this Takara Jetfire.
I got Roadbuster and Brainstorm on the way and judging by the figures mentioned above I'm sure to expect even more greatness when they arrive...another score Takara!

BWTF posted an new image of Takara Tomy's TakaraTomy's Legends LG-14 Ultra Magnus! What is interesting is that in this image they show that Ultra Magnus may come with Alpha Trion instead of the Minimus Ambus that the Hasbro version comes with. From the looks of the picture Alpha Trion will be a repaint of Minimus! Please take all of this as rumors for now as this picture is unaccredited and unconfirmed. It's not really the Alpha Trion that's sellin it for me but Magnus's extra detail and paint apps. Looks sharp, blurry picture and all. Hasbro's inclusion of Minimus makes more sense though if we're following IDW's interpretation of Magnus. Alpha Trion as a minibot? What sense does that make?

Why did Takara go with red thighs for their version of Magnus? As tribute to the original G1 box art? I think I'll be happy with the Hasbro version. It's got a better color scheme and fewer paint detail embellishments that aren't on the G1 screen version.

They've been white too in IDW. So, why would Takara go with a comic-accurate deco and NOT include Minimus Ambus, who is integral to the character of the version they are trying to emulate? Insanity! Plus, that's one itty-bitty Alpha Trion. Hasbro version still wins for me. A rarity, but I just like it better.

That's an older comic I believe. When I said IDW I shouldve said MTMTE.

Though, you know who might have worked better in Takara's favor for being a facial-haired, elderly, cartoon Autobot who IS small? Governor Raikuru.
Sure, he equally has jack to do with Magnus, but it's someone who hasn't gotten a toy yet and is from a cartoon Takara's audience is familiar with.
