Traditionally Takara Tomy has always been more secure with their figures not getting leaked out than Hasbro. It's incredibly rare to find pics online of a TT figure more than a day or two before release. Couldn't begin to explain why since I'm pretty sure they both use the same factory, unless TT does the assembly somewhere else.

Yeah, I was wondering about the Hasbro Chromedome body with Takara heads thing recently. Have any more of these been sighted in the wild? There seemed to be several sightings when news first broke, and then nothing since. Sounds to me like it was an extremely isolated incident after all.

Seriously, this looks beautiful. The darker shade of teal looks very becoming on Kup. I know the saturation levels for his colors varied wildly across the cartoon and animated movie, but he does come off as this shade more than just a few random times in the original media. I approve. Takara, you did good!

Seibertronian Cyberpath is at it again, this time bringing us new images of the upcoming Takara Legends Kup from TakaraTomy Mall! For those who were worried about the gray color scheme, it appears as though bad lighting was the reason for the grayish feel, as these new images show Kup in a daker teal sort of color, more closely matching his cartoon self. Still looks too gray to me. Looks very similar to me for the most part except for different lighting or saturation. Where's the blue or bluish gray?

I can already predict the arguments to be put forward:

- image color settings, like hue, saturation, contrast and the like
- lighting
- monitor settings
- personal color perception

And I have a feeling in-hand images won't change a thing.

I will reiterate Recoil looks an awful lot like whats-his-name-again Pointblank's partner Peacemaker.
