I don't see that happening since both Giant and Hercules both fulfilled the need for a Supreme Class-sized Devastator made of six Deluxe-sized figures (as opposed to a Titan class-sized one made of us six Voyager-sized figures) quite a while ago, and I can't see yet a third 3rd-party Devastator being any cheaper than either of those two.Gearslide wrote:Hmmm... All this demand for a smaller Devastator makes me wonder if we'll see a company down the road make a knock-off of the Constructicons that are smaller scaled to be the same height as the other teams in combined mode.

So what would that roughly translate to,

Hellscream9999 wrote:So possibly way better than any price so far, as per usual from amiami, so what other costs would then be applied? Tax, import, shipping? I've never imported anything, what would something like devs cost, and how does international tax/shipping work?

Taxes differ by country and if customs choses your pack or not. Shipping would be about 50$ US or less I suppose.

So essentially, shipping is going to be so outrageous, I could go with tfscource and score some points and get free shipping, and not have to deal with extraneous complications? Sounds like a solid deal to me. Who're you using to get him? amiami?

Yup, I will be using amiami, or HLJ, whoever. You being in the states, you have a ton of options. In the end, everyone will get him for anywhere between 220-250$ US shipped, not below. You will get that by using TF source with their free shipping. Me in Canada (and a ton of other international places) will have to rely on a cheaper japan website so that we pay to import it ourselves. What sucks about BBTS or TFsource for non americans is that you are paying shipping twice. Once in terms of the premium those sites give you to cover their importing costs and the second time is the actual shipping. While you might find the shipping outrageous, that is exactly how much it costs to ship something from BBTS to Canada.
Amiami does give me points too though, so thats fun.
Anyways all I meant to say is that the talk of cheaper retailers is not to beat the BBTS price, it is to end up getting that same price shipped when out of the states.

And you wonder why at certain times I go ballistic? Seeing all of you play with your figures while I broil and fester waiting for the last 6 months when I could have easily purchased the TRU versions with the exception of going through heck just to find Quickslinger
Yup, that's me.

You do realise Quickslinger and Brake-Neck are online-only, right? There was one single store sighting, but consider that one a fluke.
