I can say the exact same for the show model of G1 Bruticus, I dont see how one is different than the other.
Because one was intentional and well done, the other is a 30 year old lazily/hastily drawn piece of crap drawn that way for efficiencies sake, not exactly something anyone should be setting much store by for inspiration. Note that the game didn't include parts, everything was stored within his body - and must be colored as such - whereas the show didn't

I also agree. Not everything on those G1 animation models should be followed-some of it was god awful! UW Brute's feet are too small, making the 'intergrated look' fail, and it also ruins the scramble aspect-something UW/CW was specifically designed for!!
And Will, my good man, what's good for the goose is not always good for the gander. Gotta size up each decision on an individual basis.
