Sabrblade wrote:That's also not U.S. packaging. That's international packaging.
It also recycles the old Transformers Legends mobile game artwork for Groove
and appears to be virtually unchanged from Takara's deco.
This is more than likely the Taiwan TRU exclusive, cobbled together by Hasbro Asia.
That Bot wrote:Uh, when? I checked the last few pages and nada. I think you're thinking of the Legends thread where you compared Predacus to the Legends EX Beast Wars guys. Or something else entirely.
As for Groove, I hope he gets a North American release somehow. I want him so.
Now here's a question. Can anybody spot any differences from the Takara version? I know it's a low-quality packaged shot, but it's a start.

I remain cautiously optimistic, but I'll nab one on the secondary market if I have to.

Sigma Magnus wrote:Once again, dangit Takara! Now I HAVE to get both and mix-and-match...anyone have an estimate on how much these'll cost?

I meant that it uses that same mold as a base, much like how Nosecone uses the Rook mold but not without changes to the mold.Powered Convoy wrote:Scattershot is also not the same as Hasbro's due to the retooling of Computron's chest and head (who knows if other changes exist).

Autobot N wrote:I hope two things about Nosecone:
1: The drill is removable, so Comp can have a drill hand.
2: He has Rook's nubs, so he can have a hulk hand and a giant drill (if it's removable).

Yes, they are. That's the only thing I don't like about this set.
