I'll mention this here since Vicki is the current subject (sorta) but when I look at most Combiner Wars Boxed sets on Amazon it says "Shipping Plus customs deposit" as part of the price.

But vicki doesn't it just says free shipping even to the UK - so does that mean there is a fee to pay when she arrives then as if she's that cheap and has no additional fee's she's well worth it but if I have to pay £20.00 or so when she shows up not so much.

Tbh if there's one thing I do like about the set, it's that they are new characters. While Hasbro has been upping it's game on new female characters recently - especially IDW - there still manages to be a severe shortage of female decepticons. I mean you've got Slipstream, Blackarachnia, and... then a bunch of one-offs, really. Ranging from major character in just one series (Thunderblast, Airachnid) to the really obscure (Lyzack, Esmeral). So it's nice to see some more deceptifemmes instead of copping out and going for another Nightbird and Arcee turned evil or something.

... I just wish they could be differentiated more from the Torchbearers. This is the thing that's holding me back the most if I'm completely honest; I just would not be able to see these characters with their Autobot counterparts existing in the same universe.

A few days. TFSource and BBTS dont have a direct link to Takara so they dont have them in their warehouses in advance. They instead have to wait for their middleman supplier to ship it to them. Shipping from Japan can be very quick though, so I'd assume 2 days.

Oh that's true. I must admit that like, this isn't actually really a criticism, and more a preference of mine. Unless I'm getting together figures for a specific display of a specific series - a MTMTE or TFP shelf - then the figures I get I tend to like bunching into it's own little make-believe universe. So yes; TFP Vehicons, Universe Dropshot, RiD Strongarm, Armada Tidal Wave, Combiner Wars Bruticus, Generations Roadbuster, the-eventual-obvious-scourge-repaint-of-titans-return-G2-Optimus... all in one little insane universe. And I love it.
So it's just a bit of a shame to me personally that I can't shove something this cool into it when it looks so much like something I find cooler is all
