Actually, they are getting the IDW comics in Japan. They're just a little behind us right now. Last I heard, they were in the midst of "All Hail Megatron".

I can see them releasing sky lynx, just not maybe in the unite warriors line

But Skylynx is getting a team assigned to him in toy form, just as Optimus is, so that is why they would do it. Cyclonus has no assigned team in the Hasbro toyline so I don't think they would release him, unless it's similar to how they released Scourge.

I know, it's just a thing of let's not count our chickens till there hatched. Though if they really wanted to they could release cyclonus vs sky lynx and give him some evil henchmen via repaints

I got something in the mail today...

Nice to finally have a full Combiner Wars/Unite Warrior style combiner, when until now I've only had a limbless torso (Optimus Prime).

He's a pretty good set of toys! I look forward to writing a review of them.

Congrats on your patience, too! I will admit it was a bit tough any time I saw an Aerialbot in the store... but getting the whole team in one shot, with all the members I wanted, and also with (at least in my opinion, which is the most important one for my own purchases) superior decos... and all for not that much more (about $30) then the Hasbro version? Seems like a no brainer to me.

The cost difference for Defensor is going to be a little harder to swallow... But (a) I really want that Groove, and (b) even after you also figure in the cost of the PE hands & feet, he'll still be less than what I had previously been used to paying for third party gestalts. So in the end, it'll still be worth it.

I'll use them with the UW Superion as additional members, with Powerglide as a weapon for Superion and Alpha Bravo as a backup member in case any of the main four limbs gets injured and needs to be swapped out.

I'm still really pissed about Menasor's shoulders. They fall apart if you try and move the arms even a little bit. ruins it for me. Defensor has better shoulder locking.

I ended up buying 2 Motormasters because of that. First one had that problem thought it was just mine because reviews I saw didn't have that issue(my Optimus doesn't have the issue) and my second Motormaster has the the same problem. It's not a huge gripe for me because his legs and stance are a bigger issue. All in all I like menasor a lot, he's "solid" for the most part.
