Madeus Prime wrote:I think he means that they aren't officially combiners by the Japanese perspective. As I don't believe the IDW comics have been translated over there, hence, Takara has no perspective on the fiction, hence, they wouldn't release a character that combines when in the original cartoon, he didn't.
ZeroWolf wrote:Are Takara releasing cyclonus? Cause I've not heard anything about him...and he's in the same league as sky lynx being a torso with no set team.
I can see them releasing sky lynx, just not maybe in the unite warriors line

I'm thinking of processing an order with Anime Export tonight, but I've never before dealt with them. Are they trustworthy if I am paying upfront like this?
I know I'm nobody to you guys, never really post, just lurk. That being said, I've ordered quite a bit from anime-export and I've never had a problem. I usually go with HLJ just because it means I don't have to pay for it right away, but whenever I go through anime-export, there's never a problem.
Thanks for the heads-up.
What have you purchased from them recently??

Nice to finally have a full Combiner Wars/Unite Warrior style combiner, when until now I've only had a limbless torso (Optimus Prime).
He's a pretty good set of toys! I look forward to writing a review of them.
Edit:
And here's one more photo, Superion in a group shot with modern versions of other '86 (and beyond) toys:

Will this be your first taste of the mold? It is fantastic for a torso.
Yes. I ignored the Hasbro Aerialbots (save for Alpha Bravo and Powerglide) in favor of waiting for this version.william-james88 wrote:Sabrblade wrote:My UW Superion came yesterday, too. Haven't opened it yet since I've been too busy to do so.

I'll use them with the UW Superion as additional members, with Powerglide as a weapon for Superion and Alpha Bravo as a backup member in case any of the main four limbs gets injured and needs to be swapped out.D-Maximus_Prime wrote:Sabrblade wrote:Yes. Are you using AB and Powerglide as stand-alones? Cause they are great toys by themselves, but I love Powerglide as a gun, it works so well!![]()
