It kinda does, and it looks like all his rotors still fold up nice and neat

I'm fairly certain that the rotor is one solid piece. The blades can move just like the original but that's it. Also the front of vortex is the same, there's no remolding
DeathReviews wrote:Death is impressed... Though as I guessed, the addition of rotors to Vortex results in some.... awkwardness near his diodes...

Maybe for Blastoff but the rest are hardly different or have worse choices.
The blue and the rotor on Vortex look bad the rotor is cool on Bruticus but it's not going to look good in bot mode for Vortex and I think Vortex looks a lot like movie Incinerator more so then G1 Vortex.
Brawl and Swindle are probably the same as Hasbro outside of some arguably fancier paint.
Onslaught looks pretty bad with the really bright cartoon colors and that brown Bruticus colors on him in bot mode and truck mode in other words he is too blue and the brown is executed awfully.
The best choice would be a mix between Hasbro and Takara with Hasbro Onslaught and Vortex with the rest using Takara versions although Brawl and Swindle wont suffer from using Hasbro's colors.
Sabrblade wrote:Wait a sec, guys. There's something very peculiar about what we see in these pics. Why are all of the Combaticons in these pics, instead of just the Blast Off figures, still in the gray prototype stage at this point? Four of them should all be done by this point since they're all just straight redecos of finished molds (though, Vorter's/Vortex's rotor is a retool, but you get the picture).
Back when we first saw pics of UW Guardian (Defensor), all four of his completed molds were fully colored, either in Hasbro colors as placeholders or hand-painted samples in the finalized Takara decos, while the Groove mold was still a gray prototype.
It doesn't really make sense for these UW versions of Onslaught, Brawl, Swindle, and Vorter/Vortex to all be gray prototypes like Blast Off since those four toys are all preexisting finished molds. They ought to be either the Hasbro versions as placeholders or Takara-deco-painted samples.
I can't think of any real reason for those four to still be incomplete... unless... unless Takara's doing some tooling changes to all of those molds for their UW release, rather than just simply redecoing them (I know it's not likely, yeah, but nor is it impossible).

So?
Saying "It's your opinion" isn't saying anything new nor is it a good argument.
All I'm saying is that bright 80's cartoon colors is not always the best choice and can turn out bad sometimes.

These all look fantastic. And if they ARE retooling all the figures...Brawl's turret might actually rotate!
