Oh that goes without question for me. When all is said and done, this might be the best Combiner to come out of this entire line.

The Fortmax mold is a fully Takara design not Hasbro. Hasbro was said to waffle at releasing him according to his designer. Only the head honcho of Takara TF branch encouraged him to go ahead with a big bad @ss of a fig. According to an excerpt in one of the Generationss mooks.

Agreed. Which is also a surprise.

Indeed, when the first hint of Technobots was Hasbros Scattorshot and how very unchanged it was to Silverbolt, I hoped like hell TT would come along and save them.
And they did!

And Scrounge (if that's who it turns out to be). I'll just give the left over Hasbro bits to my nephew for Christmas.

Aren't y'all worried about the color match, or lack therein?

But bringing up the idea of other combiners being made isn't too far off anyway considering it's very likely this trend would/will continue that TT will make slight (or major) changes if and when other combiner teams are released.
In fact, it's probably more related than we think, because I'd bet whenever new combiners are made, there will be a definite conscious effort to keep the figures of the teams almost the exact same size as what we've been getting in these current lines.
They wouldn't go smaller (at least that doesn't make sense to me), and to go bigger would be a major financial issue.
I agree with whoever said the current molds just wouldn't work for those characters of Seacons or Terrorcons. But having said that, I do wonder if to re-use molds (and obviously save some $$$$) we'd see a Predaking that is NOT Titan Class-- just re-tooled molds from those other teams' characters, which should be easier since they're all in the "beast realm".
I think the main reason I even thought to bring all this up is because the UW Computron has me thinking that there is a lot that's possible now, and this figure has me excited because we're finally getting some stuff that has never received proper updating.
Computron doesn't seem to have the biggest fan following, and so all of this effort into giving us a quality set has me hopeful that more lesser-known (and less popular) combiners will be made in the somewhat near future.

I really like the remolding done on Afterburner's guns even if it probably was just for the combined super gun thingy. It's a little hard to tell but does it look to anyone else like Strafe's vehicle mode guns come off?

There is. you can turn the kibble just like on Groove and the hasbro Computron shows off the turned kibble as well
