1. My Strafe's head pops off *really* easily. Like, you just glance at it and it gets wobbly...
Does it pop off at the hinge that allows the entire head to fold over back or at the neck ball joint? Mine pops off pretty easily at the hinge, particularly if I am bringing the gestalt connector around.lowman_x wrote:2. One of my hands/feet isn't the same as the other three. Three of them are clearly painted that very slightly darker brown-red while one of them is the unpainted raw brown plastic and the thumb joint is white (where the others are all brown). Anyone else have that issue?
I'm not sure they are actually painted. I have commented in another thread about this, but some of the plastics used these days both by Hasbro and Takara have this shine to them that almost looks like enamel painted die cast. I find three of the HFGs with this. Maybe they are painted, but I cannot tell for sure.
The fourth one that is not shiny, also has a white thumb ratchet mechanism, is the gatling gun knuckles. Is that the case for you? Then I think we are consistent in our UW Computrons.
lowman_x wrote:Yes! It *is* the gattling gun foot/hand! Huh. I wonder if they had a whole bunch left over from a previous release or something?
JelZe GoldRabbit wrote: That one is associated with the helicopter mold (Alpha Bravo, Vortex, Blades), but it's also found on Groove and in the UW Computron set, probably because of Afterburner.

I wonder why they didn't redo it in the same plastic as the other hands/feet though? And kept the white thumb ratchet joint? Curious. Not that I care, really. You really can't tell unless you look closely at it.

I don't think "Armada Demolishor" was ever planned for release, but was still sculpted "just in case". Almost every version of any given CW mold has a secondary head built in, so some don't get to be used for normal retail, but were used by the Club. It just so happens I have a full list of paired heads:
Fireflight & Slingshot
Skydive & Starscream
Air Raid & Thrust
Vortex & Blades
Drag Strip & Mirage
Breakdown & Sunstreaker
Wheeljack & Counterpunch
Dead End & Wildrider
Streetwise & Prowl
Ruckus (Offroad) & Ironhide
First Aid & Ratchet
Swindle & Hound
Optimus Prime & Star Convoy (Battle Core)
Motormaster & Nemesis Prime (Toxitron)
Onslaught & Armada Demolishor
Pyra Magna wasn't part of the initial plans of the CW line so her head wasn't sculpted as a "just in case" plan, and her retooling goes much further than a simple headsculpt change, like those listed above.Kurona wrote:JelZe GoldRabbit wrote:Decepticon Stryker wrote:I don't know if this should be in the CW thread or this one, but does anyone know what happened to that Onslaught prototype with the Demolisher head? What are you talking about? What "more repaints/retools from this line"? Everything they said above is old stuff that's already come and gone.Stuartmaximus wrote:Urghnot more repaints/retools from this line! btw i thought CW was on it's way out? as we're now onto the Titans Return line

Thanks! But real quick, that $45 shipping is from Takara Tomay Mall right? Or is that shipping form BBTS?
