1. My Strafe's head pops off *really* easily. Like, you just glance at it and it gets wobbly...

Does it pop off at the hinge that allows the entire head to fold over back or at the neck ball joint? Mine pops off pretty easily at the hinge, particularly if I am bringing the gestalt connector around.

lowman_x wrote:2. One of my hands/feet isn't the same as the other three. Three of them are clearly painted that very slightly darker brown-red while one of them is the unpainted raw brown plastic and the thumb joint is white (where the others are all brown). Anyone else have that issue?

I'm not sure they are actually painted. I have commented in another thread about this, but some of the plastics used these days both by Hasbro and Takara have this shine to them that almost looks like enamel painted die cast. I find three of the HFGs with this. Maybe they are painted, but I cannot tell for sure.

The fourth one that is not shiny, also has a white thumb ratchet mechanism, is the gatling gun knuckles. Is that the case for you? Then I think we are consistent in our UW Computrons. :D

Yeah, it's the hinge that holds the whole head on and folds over. The connector nubbins on either side aren't particularly pronounced, so it comes away very easily.

Yes! It *is* the gattling gun foot/hand! Huh. I wonder if they had a whole bunch left over from a previous release or something?

That one is associated with the helicopter mold (Alpha Bravo, Vortex, Blades), but it's also found on Groove and in the UW Computron set, probably because of Afterburner.
The resident Rewind... well, half of one

I wonder why they didn't redo it in the same plastic as the other hands/feet though? And kept the white thumb ratchet joint? Curious. Not that I care, really. You really can't tell unless you look closely at it.

Going by the assumption the HFG's are gang-molded, Afterburner is the only one that doesn't feature that particular color plastic for any of his parts.

I don't know if this should be in the CW thread or this one, but does anyone know what happened to that Onslaught prototype with the Demolisher head? Was it just a concept that was dropped it is it being made?

I don't think "Armada Demolishor" was ever planned for release, but was still sculpted "just in case". Almost every version of any given CW mold has a secondary head built in, so some don't get to be used for normal retail, but were used by the Club. It just so happens I have a full list of paired heads:

Fireflight & Slingshot
Skydive & Starscream
Air Raid & Thrust
Vortex & Blades
Drag Strip & Mirage
Breakdown & Sunstreaker
Wheeljack & Counterpunch
Dead End & Wildrider
Streetwise & Prowl
Ruckus (Offroad) & Ironhide
First Aid & Ratchet
Swindle & Hound

Optimus Prime & Star Convoy (Battle Core)
Motormaster & Nemesis Prime (Toxitron)
Onslaught & Armada Demolishor

Pyra Magna wasn't part of the initial plans of the CW line so her head wasn't sculpted as a "just in case" plan, and her retooling goes much further than a simple headsculpt change, like those listed above.

What are you talking about? What "more repaints/retools from this line"? Everything they said above is old stuff that's already come and gone.

I know that this is somewhat off topic but it's the only place I could think of to ask this: How much is international shipping for Grand Galvatron if you're in the U.S.? Another answer I'm seeking is how much does it weigh? Thanks. :D

45$ from Japan. But you can't buy from takaratomymall, they only ship to Japan. There is a way to still get it from them, but thats more expensive and complicated. The cheapest way to get grand galvatron was on e-bay for 225$ shipped. He might still be there.

Courtesy of fellow Seibertronian Cyberpath, a comic by Hayato Satamako to accompany the upcoming UW-EX Megatronia giftset has surfaced on Takaratomymall. In particular this comic focuses on and features the titular combiner's components alongside Lynxmaster and Grand Galvatron as it follows on from the previous story as depicted in UW-EX Lynxmaster's comic. You can download the PDF here and tell us what you think in the Energon Pub!

Looks like the other three fembots are breaking Megaempress & Flowspade from the suspended animation that Shockwave put them in after they had betrayed Megatron.

Then regroup to exact revenge on Galvatron. Which allows the Lynxmaster-team to get the drop on them.
