Only in the English Australian release. Takara's original Japanese bio card was the classic Supreme Commander Star Saber.

Until know, didn't know that IDW created one (haven't touched an IDW comic since FOTW.....save more cash for the toys and not the comic). The character I mean. Only knew that this mold was based on the (or the original mold that is, back in the Diaclone/G1 era)unused color scheme of what would become UM. I even have the Takara battle scene showing G1 Megatron fighting Diaclone color Megatron...complete with faction symbols. Hence my belief that the original Diaclone color UM was just him miscolored. Same with G1 Galvatron toy who is now Galvatron II but was labeled back in the 80s as THE Galvatron but not purple.

The mere declaration of "he's Delta Magnus" means squat as "I haven't been reading IDW since FoTW". Hence my continuous request to translate the biocard.

He and the original Ultra Magnus are both from the House of Magnus, and Delta is an original so he wouldn't have been built like the later IDW Ultra Magnus. Could be that they were brothers like Minimus Ambus and Dominus Ambus so they'd look alike (maybe more so than others, but still).

As I am repeating again. All the post you are linking says "He's Delta Magnus". No links, no mention of he's from IDW. Maybe you knew of Delta Magnus from IDW. Even if you aren't updated but you probably read about him (well more than probably as the level of probability is more skewed to the left of the null graph) Me? I haven't read a single IDW product since FoTW. What's so hard to understand about that?

If I didn't read a single IDW comic, how am I supposed to know that there's a Delta Magnus? Knowledge doesn't just appear from thin air.It has to be learned from an exposure to a source of knowledge of which I haven't been exposed to.

It encompasses the entire page showcasing when that statement "He's Delta Magnus" first started and Combaticons Combine? who put up the tfwiki link next.

Hence my insistence of translating the content of the biocard. I tend to put more faith in official sources first before the tfwiki. Now if you'll insist that official sources regularly use tfwiki AS the source, the researcher in me thinks otherwise as to swallow hook line and sinker anything put up in a wiki.

I am not as dense as to pretend that I know everything, as my hunger for TF knowledge/lore is insatiable. Which goes back again to my request to translate the biocard. I wasn't trying to do a "Pretender" by claiming sudden mastery of the character.

The Wiki link was to show that the guy who looks like Diaclone Powered Convoy and bore the name "Delta Magnus" is a different person from Ultra Magnus. Not to mention the fact that the toy doesn't bear the name of "Ultra Magnus". If it were the same character as Ultra Magnus, it would be called something like "Ultra Magnus movie Preview Ver." or whatever. The name "Delta Magnus" is a key indicator on its own, and if not, the affirmation from those in this thread who are familiar with the character ought to have been enough to make clear his being a separate guy from Ultra Magnus. Plus, again, the Wiki page that CombaticonsCombine? linked to explains who the guy is.

Takara wouldn't use the name "Delta Magnus" if they didn't mean for it to be the guy that everyone was talking about, and they certainly wouldn't take the identity of a pre-established character like that and change it to being something like the same identity of Ultra Magnus in a new form. Takara is beholden to things past, especially in a line like the Masterpiece line.

First, you contradict yourself. You post a link to the general thread for what? I requested a translation of the card. Some poster answers and is later responded upon by another with a link to info that I do not swallow hook line and sinker (wikis aren't written in stone as they are prone to errors and speculation by those who enters the info. Who vets their expertise. Also, the term DELTA Magnus comes from IDW if you are to accept the wiki entry as the gospel truth.

So now it doesn't matter? So the link is there. Then what?

Chronology:

1. I request a translation
2. Someone declares "He's Delta"
3. I again request a translation
3. Someone later posts a link.
4. I request again of which a translation was posted (something about vinegar and the like)

The chain of events matters in chronology. As in all court cases, it's how an event develops to its end.

Would not it be illogical for a link to first appear then I ask a question concerning the self same link? That would be stupid to ask for an answer that has already been given. The link was posted AFTER I again requested for a translation as the mere response of "He's Delta Magnus " is an inconclusive answer.

That is why I also queried prior if Delta Magnus is UM or another character. Because? Well I do not know this character. Who knows, maybe UM got a new paint job after taking too much energon. Optimus also got the black finish before he went into a black hole to get Nucleon or the solar absorbing black in THS02-b. That was still Optimus. So my question has precedence.

Concerning the wiki. It showcases some character that supposed to be this character but is JG1 but is NOW revealed to be different. I DID NOT KNOW that until I read it.

Also, you got a inside info on TT's business practices? TT can do just about anything they want. Slap the name Convoy on anything and people will swallow it whole without blinking. I feel your broad conclusion on that matter is by far unreliable, more on the speculation.

Also, it's been pointed out that MP-31 was named as Primal by a more reputable source. So it's likely that Delta's number designate is wrong

As long as somebody is wrong and somebody else is right on an internet forum I'm happy.
