Oh I'm glad they are too! I love that Beast Wars is getting masterpiece now. May even be a bit cheaper since there is no vehicle mode licencing stuff too.
You know, this licensing thing always sounds odd to me. Of course, there is a cost somewhere, but look at AOE. Toys with licenses from Bugatti and Lambourghini were selling for the same price as the toy of transforming triceratops.

Do you have a G1 trailbreaker? If not, try to get the encore, he was a shooting fist gimick.

Oh well, the leader generally should be larger no?
Yes, the 8 year old me was always ok with that logic. Hence why it was fine that the Ultra Primal was bigger than Rhinox.
But this just shows that this toy is indeed in a league of his own for the moment. It's not a classics, its a freaken MP!!!

I wouldn't worry too much. I imagine it's just a rare oddity like Starsaber.

Gotta admit though: Star Saber was an awesome pick and came out good.
Can't wait to see this guy in color though.

Yeah, I guess he was awesome. It's hard for me to say as Starsaber is a character I have no connection to. I actually saw his inclusion to the line as a delay of normal figures.

I have virtually no connection to him either, but it never hurts to see guys you don't really know or care for get a toy and then realize "damn that's really awesome." that's how it was for Saber for me. He was just so cool and then I looked into his actual history then he showed up (very differently) in IDW, so it made sense and now I have slowly started looking more into and respecting japanese shows. They did some fun and different stuff that I appreciate.
plus for some he was a true treat, the same way Primal here will be a true treat for the 90's children who loved beast wars. it will be a dream come true. It is comparable to me 15-20 years down the road getting a masterpiece Animated Bulkhead or ninja Prowl or a Prime Smokescreen or Bulkhead (I really like Bulk, he's up there on my top 5 list too). Those to me would be truly spectacular

No argument from me. I didn't word that statement well. I meant that I could see how some would worry about the G1 theme that has been going on getting interupted. I've come close to pulling the trigger on Saber several times, he truly looks amazing, but there are so many other MP level figures that I have a better connection with that always win out.

Well, that's a little disappointing. Figure still looks really nice, though. (I'm willing to forgive one or two robot parts visible in Beast Mode.)

It's probably because the curvature of the swords conflicts with the curvature pf his spine or something, especially if they're making the swords larger

According to the development team interview, fur gorilla without molding, it is written to be such as to reproduce the texture to the Tsurutto surface such as CG.

Yeah, from the messy Google translation coupled with the magazine scan seen above, I wager there to be maybe three gorilla faces and four robot faces.william-james88 wrote:Sabrblade wrote:Twas in the Hyper Hobby info Autobase Aichi posted - http://snakas.blog95.fc2.com/blog-entry-5073.htmlwilliam-james88 wrote:Sabrblade wrote:Also, four robot faces, including the faceplated one.

I wrote it earlier in the thread but didnt catch the faceplate comment. Here is how it translated:
Gorilla face is the expression replacement formula Nanoha previously reported, but the robot mode facial expression also replaced normally, cry, smile, four types of photo of mask has been published.
So "mask" is assumed to be faceplate?
