Sabrblade wrote:What about this smaller one?Hellscream9999 wrote:As for how it looks, I have never owned the Optimus Primal figure (a regret, I know) but they never totally appealed to me, because no matter how much the robot mode head was altered, it never looked like the design in the show. The toy was "realistic" and the shows was... not, for lack of a better word.

Rodimus Minor wrote:What kind of sorcery be this his beast mode is so clean I see no pannels on it so how does the Transformation work. I am Sold. Next give me MP Dinobot Megatron Airazer Tarantualas, Screw it give me an Entire MP BW cast
It could be a nontransforming preproduction model for the figure rather than a painted prototype.Rodimus Minor wrote:What kind of sorcery be this his beast mode is so clean I see no pannels on it so how does the Transformation work

Forget it. the goal of the MP line, especially since MP-10, is to be 100% cartoon accurate. So, it will be robo-lips all the way.
Maybe it will have a battlemask gimmick like for Cybertron Leader or something.

Battle mask IS cartoon Accurate. At least some of the time. Standard look was lips, but when the battle got rough he'd pop the... I don't know what's that's even called?? mouth guard? Visor? Whatever the opposite of robo lips would be.
I'm sure he'll have the 'standard' head... but Bumblebee got an extra face, so I'm hoping he does too.

Yep. To be honest I've always felt he looked kinda weird with the mouthplate and wished the toy had lips. Besides, every time he used the mouthplate it was gone in the next shot, even in the middle of a battle.megatronus wrote:MartianSpyGirl1996 wrote:I prefer his lips... made him stand apart a little more from Prime
I agree. It's how I remember him being, most of the time.
Maybe we'll get multiple face/mask options.
william-james88 wrote:So that would also be the case for Predaking, who is also six members.

I was the opposite. I liked every and any throwback to G1 they could give us. Honestly I really didn't like season 1 at all as the 'robot' to 'flesh' gimmick seemed dumb to me, and the 'reboot/remake' of good vs evil crashing on the planet just annoyed me. Once the plot started incorporating G1 aspects and delved more into overall story... it made it more of a sequel then a remake... I REALLY started to get into it. Absolutely LOVED season 3!
But yeah, that season one, I loved the mouthplate.

I like Beast Wars for its own story to tell. I didn't need G1 to enjoy it. Same goes for Beast Machines... I don't need BW to enjoy it, but so many people compare it to that instead of appriciating it for what it has to say on its own. I can definitely say the same thing about BW in relation to G1.
And yeah, the BW-MP figures will be their own thing, but will they really stay in scale to one another? If they ever did a Blackarachnia, she'd be tiny, and Optimal Optimus would be a Titan class
Cobotron wrote:Hey! You seemed to have attracted a wild Megatronus. They're hard to find, but boy are they fun when you catch one!
A G1, yes, but not a known particular one. There's more than one "G1" reality.megatronus wrote:Beast Wars occurs in the same universe/timeline as G1.
