It looks great, but IMHO it's to expensive for what you get.

Like I said earlier, it's pricey. $45 + shipping is a little too steep for an add-on. But it does look cool. Wish I could afford it.

Might be pricey, but considering the original accessory its based off of (Fort max's sword), I'd say 45+ shipping is easily better than the original at $100+ (usually not including shipping) for one of the most brittle transformers accessories EVER.
At least this one seems to have improved upon the huge design flaw of the original, by nixing that stupid tab that would ALWAYS break altogether.
This might actually give me a reason to buy a decent condition fort max (always wanted the sword with it).

This is pretty similar to the Allsparks and Prime Switchblades with 3 different variations that we saw 2 years ago when the Movie came out. Seeing as I don't have any figures that would hold these swords very well, I'll take a pass.

Well, the peg holes should fit most of the cls/uni figures. It's not like ya have to even give the dang thing to Prime. But also, if you don't have a use for it, then there's also no point. I just like to keep my TF's armed to the teeth!!

Woah, cool! The Master Sword and the Matrix Blade (God Fire Sword). But no love for the Master Blade?
These ought to go with G1 Fortress Maximus (as he can't function in his Big Mode without his sword) and Omega Prime/God Fire Convoy (so he can pwn Galvatron/Devil Gigatron) or RiD Fortress Maximus/Brave Maximus (as it would look awesome).
In reality, G1 Optimus Prime and G1 Ultra Magnus haven't any use for these swords. The power these swords contain weren't meant for them.
