The targetmasters are great, but they're gonna become the new classic seekers at this rate

Because we have 4 uses of one of them and 5 of the other? Let me know when they get to 31 like the Classics Seekers.

How many uses has the Universe Nightstick mould had? (still won't be as many as the Classics seeker one)

about 10ish, maybe 11. but we have: two sets of targetmaster reuses in the TFSS, two sets in Most Wanted, one guy in adventure... they're being pumped through fast.

Would've bought it if this was a retail release. But this is just one of the things wrong with how Hasbro handles this franchise.

Question for TFSS veterans: on the installment plan, how often do they do it? I understand that the first installment is $99, but is it $99 per month? Is it bimonthly?
They call me “Tanker Chungus”!

The first installment is due when you sign up. Sometime next year you will get the first two figures. After the 2nd figure ships, they will send out an email letting you know when they will charge for the second installment for the next 2. After the fourth figure ships they will do the same for the final 2. They will also charge you shipping and the $5 service fee for each installment so it will probably be $115-$120 each payment. The figure ship 1 per month.

The point (I think) he was trying to make was that they could have done these in lieu of one of the '84 teams, yet they chose (for better or worse, and of their own discretion) to release figures we've gotten several versions of in the past - and, while I admit it's good for newer fans to get them this way instead of off ebay, it does feel very tired for veteran fans, so it's a very dichotic stance comprising strong positives and negatives

Needlenose is the one I'm most looking forward to. Looks great in those images. I really hope Quake is the bonus guy so we can just knock out all the smaller TM homage guys at once while we're using the TM guns.

Cheers, LC!

In that case, it would be criminal of me to pass this up... If the other two payments aren't due until next year, then I have more than enough time to save up for that part. I do have enough to get the first installment out of the way, so if other financial responsibilities will hold up for the next couple of weeks, I'll certainly reserve myself a set!

That's the installment plan? I thought it all had to be paid during this month! Man, that takes a load off my mind. Thanks!

You have the option of paying for it all at once if you want to. That does save you $10 in service charges.

Okay, so I'm not sure anyone else caught this, but in Ruckus's bio, it mentions that he's used as a sword arm for Mayhem Maximus... In that he can have his swords plug into the sockets used for the combiner kibble? If that's what they meant, I need this thing so badly! That would be insanely badass! I wish I had a sword for a hand...
Also: "Impactor risks life and his remaining limbs"... Wrecker combiner in the works/confirmed?

"Sword arm" usually just means the arm that holds a sword, unless I'm mistaken. But the combiner kibble uses 5mm pegs, so you should be able to replace it with swords or other weapons if you so choose.
As for Impactor's remaining "limbs", I think it's a reference to how the character is iconically missing a hand.
And you don't want a sword for a hand. You'd get a bunch of emails asking how you type with it.

"Sword arm" is usually referencing the arm of the hand that holds the sword. Since Bludgeon comes with swords, I assumed he would wield one of them.
Remaining limbs is referencing that Impactor only has one hand.
Just logical assumptions, of course... also I would hope if we have one CW Wrecker, we have 4 more on the way...

Yeah. But I don't have the money right now for all at once. It's gonna be better for me in the long-run.

Slick! Those teal details are a neat touch, will they be somewhat metallic to more closely invoke the G1 sticker appearance?

Not really, but now that you mention it the First Aid retooling of that could work pretty well as Cannonball. Or Red Alert (UT Red Alert, not G1).Shuttershock wrote:Anyone else reminded of Cannonball with that color palette?

Shame Trailbreaker isn't using the First Aid molding. He'd be near perfect as Armada Red Alert.
