I think this is WJ88? I mean, I could be wrong...
Also, fixed the quote mixup.

At least Mark Ryan is a good Lockdown.
I'm being flippant
So?
flippant (adjective) - not showing a serious or respectful attitude.
In other words, he's messing around.

Yes. Now go to your room and don't play with yourself.

They look like... more of Lockdown. Like, more of his kind. Mayber other bounty hunters, as though Lockdown were part of a group of them who all look similar.Janus Prime wrote:Who are those guys behind Lockdown? they look robotic but have no kibble, maybe it´s a new alien race. Oh no... now that you mention it, Lockdown's ocular helmet does look like that of a scuba diving helmet. And we see him coming out of the water in that one shot. And Quintessa is known for its aquatic inhabitants, so maybe, just maybe, Lockdown and his ilk just might be of or pertaining to Quintessa.SlyTF1 wrote:I hope those aren't the quintessans behind Lockdown.

I hope not too, though.

As it turns out, it just so happens that the Transformers: Retribution novel that came out back in January had the Quintessons and their ilk as being exactly that, creations of the Original Thirteen member Quintus Prime birthed on the Planet Quintessa.mirageandjazz1197 wrote:Could be a diffrent group of non cybertronian Transformers

There's still a possibility we might get both, since the Quints were originally conceived for the 1986 movie as servants of Unicron who did away with any survivors of planets Unicron ate (before they were changed into being their own unique faction in the final cut of the 1986 movie). It's possible any Quints we might get in this movie might serve him here as well.Autobot032 wrote:I'd much rather have Quintessons over Unicron, anyday.

I don't really know, but I'm making a strong guess that the ships could be some space explorers from Cybertron on prehistoric Earth (hint, Dinobots).OmegaPrime273 wrote:Soooooo??? Who's in those ships, is it an army seen in a flashback or an army aiding Lockdown/con army??? This has gotten more and more interesting w each new footage we see

Rodimus Prime wrote:If the Quints have to be in Bayverse, I hope they do them justice and not make them a cliche. (You know, run of the mill alien race looking to 'colonize' Earth for minerals and stuff) I want them to be here specifically because of the Transformers. Maybe they could be The Fallen's minions or something? Whatever, as long as it's not the same old same old. I don't like the Quintessons, but I gotta admit they (or at least the concept of them) is at least somewhat unique, and could be characterized well.
Whoever these dudes are, it was stated at CinemaCon that Lockdown is working for some authority who sends him to Earth specifically because of the Transformers' activities on Earth in the previous three films. Whoever Lockdown serves is not pleased with the Transformers having come in contact/interacted with humanity. So if these are a new take Quints, it's probably safe to assume that they are at least here specifically because of the TFs having been on Earth.Rodimus Prime wrote:If the Quints have to be in Bayverse, I hope they do them justice and not make them a cliche. As for Cyclonus, common belief is that that was a preliminary/misunderstood name for Galvatron.
But Galvatron and Lockdown have no affiliation to each other. Your argument is dependent on Lockdown and Galvatron being of the same ilk since the guys your pegging for the Sweeps are more likely part of Lockdown's space gang, while Galvatron is a human-built mech from Earth.SlyTF1 wrote:Sabrblade wrote:The Sweeps were Scourge's minions, not Cyclonus's.SlyTF1 wrote:What if the guys behind Lockdown are Sweeps? Yeah, but since they're bringing Galvatron into the movie, and if Cyclonus is, in fact, in the movie, it would make sense to have Scourge and the Sweeps, too. IF they wanted to portray this whole Unicron thing as it was in G1.
