I just opened my Armada Wheeljack. Oh ... my ... GAWD!!! What a piece of crap!

His pics in the gallery were promising, but the quality in plastic is terrible. Also, his joints feel way too loose. Thankfully the shoulders click into place.

While I'm at it ... let me re-state how terrible Movie Voyager Megatron is.

Energon Prime.
I just wanted a prime when I was like 8 and bought him.
Only to find out it was an overweight power ranger.

Those are very good reasons why most fans regret getting some TF figs... :-?

While for some, it is better to stick to the original toys released during the early waves... :)

A majority of Armada and Energon toys. At the time I was really trying to get into the toys/cartoon but looking back I wish I would have just saved my time, money and effort.

I'm sure someone else has said this in part or in total, but I regret nearly every movie figure I purchased. Fortunately there is eBay, and people have been buying them from me. Clearly the movie line has provided us with the best figures of all TF time *sarcasm to appease those who will flame me for not liking their toys*, but the appeal of them wore off so fast for me. Thank god for that picture of Universe Onslaught, because it's about time I saw a good looking Transformer that wasn't a Botcon exclusive. Even a bunch of the Animated designs are head and shoulders above the movie figures as far as the pictures show. Just my opinion, but that is kind of the point of this thread isn't it?

Quite it is.. :)

I only got the toys of the characters from the movie. Heck I never even got a Megatron. Beyond the movie characters though I really didn't feel the need to get any others.

This piece of junk was a waste of $5:

I'm almost ready to just throw it in the trash.

This was another dumb $5 purchase I'd like to just throw out:

Of course it is. I am aware of that but a lot of people will jump all over you for disagreeing with their opinion about the movie toys. However, it's all a matter of opinion. I do like some movie figures, but those are the ones people jump on me for liking: Voyager Megatron, Voyager Prime, Deluxe Brawl, Swindle and the lens heads. So really, with the movie line, I can't win whether I like a figure or not.

Good thing you didn't delve into impulse buying...Sticking to the basics is really safe option. :)

I admit I engaged into a bit of impulse buying other figs...Sometimes my excitement and curiosity blurs my rational thinking hehe...

Movie Protoform Prime and Dlx Arcee. They're great figs, don't get me wrong- that Prime has great articulation, and Arcee's alt mode is excellent, but they don't fit my collection scheme- Arcee is the only one in her scale (I like scale in my TFs), and PF Prime was only in the movie for, what, 5 seconds total? Just doesn't fit in w/ my several other movie Primes.

Worst part is, I'm selling them and nobody wants them! (hint-hint)

I once bought a KO Defensor set to get the accessories for my G1 Protectobots which are missing the parts for Defensor. When the KO set arrived I realized that it was a little bit larger then the G1 parts and wouldn't fit. Now I'm forced to go to eBay to get those parts...

Classics Devastator.

This is not Classics at all. No resemblance or relation whatsoever to the original Devastator. Except for a few names.

I have KO RAVAGE and RUMBLE, they look nice & convert into tapes too, but I realized they wouldn't fit in SOUNDWAVE's tape deck!

Now I'm looking for authentic G1 versions, but I'm not in a hurry...I enjoy these KOs somehow... :-?

Arcee is too big for its scale. 1/18. I don't know where to put here. All the other Movie toys are scaled 1:32 and below, as low as 1:110.
