Fun fact: The president doesn't have the ability to have people executed on the spot, due to a variety of restrictions in the constitution. The President of the United States is, in fact, bound by all the same laws a s US citizen.

Assuming you're an American, you do realize that if you did that, you'd be kicked out no matter what. Our president doesn't have as much power as you think. You can't going off killing people for opposing and expect to survive in office. They'd probably call you a Nazi dictator. Freedom of speech, pal.

That also means you can't turn us into a socialist nation. But...America is already somewhat socialist, and has been for years.

If you want to be able to do all that, get thousands of cronies and attempt to overthrow some superpower nations and name yourself absolute monarch, like they did in the old days. I'm considering that myself.

Old days? That's business-as-usual for third-world countries now. Just shoot at people until they name you President For Life, then spend the rest of your days planning for when someone tries to do the same to you. You can't be President For Life if you're dead, that's the loophole there.

Like if you're able to aim and hit your target before he can aim and hit you, or if it's a sniper, or if you're faced with multiple attackers, or if it's a sneak attack, or if it's a sneak attack with multiple attackers, or if they wait for you to go to sleep before killing you, or if they're using a method other than straight-up attack, like poison, or a hidden bomb, or arson of some kind.

Ha ha, well considering Bay cast the same guy that supposedly died in the Blackout amush in the beggining of the first film as the mission conrol leader in "Fallen, I wouldn't have batted an eye to Rachael being recast under a different name in any of the films. And she has since proven her moxy as an actress as well, though alot of people didn't watch it, I liked "Shutter".....though was heart broken when they forced her to loose her ever cute aussie accent.

Also, what the duce ever happened to Kelly? You think the one character who had the power to disband an agency devoted to alien research would have himself been in charge of NEST....especially after finding out that hey, there is such things as aliens.

But back to the purpose of this thread, talking about hot women, I think the downfall of "Moon" can be accredited to a simple equation.

Still holding out hope that Shockwave turns out to be a total badass. I liked the announcement trailer, so hopefully they'll only improve from there. As for Rosie, Rachael she'll never be, but hopefully she'll have a reduced role.

Also, I think they should have written the character of Marissa Fairborne of EDC in, and cast Angelina Jolie for the part.

As for Shockwave, what I've seen so far looks promising....however it's really up to the performance of the character, or if Bay makes the same mistake of trying to outshine his key characters with useless supporting characters and layers of sketch comedy (Twins, and the new Mullet Nascar bots).
Which is why I'm skeptical of Rosie's part, with Megan it makes sense being there's a working dynamic established in the later two films. This go around though, with this new hottie, and no real character history or dynamic established....I think it's just going to feel too tacked on and last minute, which is something I fear for the whole production itself.

I doubt she'd have anything to do with the movies, just because she hates her father and he played a major character in the first film. Oh well.

As for Shockwave, I think this production had more time and a good (or just better) script, and it won't feel rushed and convoluted. I just hope the story itself is good.

Now for a bit of speculation...who else (perhaps someone somewhat known?) could have played Carly instead of one of Bay's car-hos?

Oh the mention of Angelina wasn't meant to be taken serious, just an excuse, any excuse really to post any and all scandalous images of her.

As for Carly, I don't really know the character in terms of the TF franchise mythos. However being it's agreed Rachael would have been a spot on Carly, I'm using her as a point of refference. Hence bringing me to another aussie, Emily Browning.



If you don't know who she is she's in the up coming film "Sucker Punch"



She has also been in films such as "Lemony Snicket" and "The Uninvited". And, unlike the previous acting lot, has a pretty good acting career to pull off a performance to blow all others away. If the Movie franchise does choose to continue via reboot (Much like Spiderman) I would be more then happy having her play the "Carly" character.

So I watched Jennifer's Body the other day, simply so I could see if Megan Fox really could act.

Turns out she plays a skank really well ... oh wait, we already knew that from Transformers.

Frankly though I thought Amanda Seyfried, aka, the other chick that wasn't Megan Fox, was much better, far sexier, and a much better actress.

Oh and Angelina Jolie is overrated.

Well, going by strictly G1 (has she even appeared anywhere else?) Carly has to be a slender blonde, or at least light red hair, so that's a lot of women in Hollywood, but only a select few would fit the complete look. The only one who comes to mind is the girl who played Riley in Terminator: SCC.

BUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUURN!

But Yeah, J.B. was a pretty funny film to watch if only for Megan (Which was honestly the only reason why I watched) but to e truthful alot of Megans parts are very defense, and mouthy...kinda like her persona from what I've read of her interviews...I think the only real way she can be taken seriously in any way, is to strip off the makeup and do a very victimized role like Hallie did in "Monsters Ball" or Therton in "Monster", which I think she can do....she's kinda tested those waters in that one Eminem music vid, where she's playing against one of the hobbits in an abusive relationship. More stuff like that and I think she'll earn more film savvy.

As for the Carly debate, I also thought of two other blondes, now that I know thats the offical hair assignment, which might fit the roles. One actually has also played the whole computer hacker deal, which is Allison Mack (Chloe from Smallville).





The other, is a rising star and actually a natural blonde, Emma Stone whose scheduled to play Mary Jane in the upcoming Spidey revamp.
