Once I see the new bimbo though i fimrly believe i'll be wishing for Megan Fox to come back.

Again with assuming it was Bay ... Bay doesn't write!

I doubt I'll be wishing for her to come back. The new girl won't be any better, but at least she's not Megan Fox.

And yeah, Bay doesn't write the scripts. It's just easier to blame the director.

I really firmly believe that after we see the performance of the drugged up "model" we'll be wishing for Megan Fox to come back.

You're implying there's a difference? :???:

To me it's more that after two movies of one, it'll be nice to have a break and go with another even if she's just as lousy at acting and bad looking.

MightyMagnus, welcome to the madness. I see that you see what it is I'm trying to say, however we must remember that "Fallen" for me was the whole "emotional adolescent male ruled by his hormones" college deal. Hence why all the lines between Shia and Megan are pretty much, "Do you love me, how much do you love me, why don't you say you love me" and I think partially why alot of people see Megan in a negative, another scapegoat per say along with the writers to devert any attnetion or more so, blame to Bay about what others think is wrong with "Fallen". Even I was getting tired of her towards the end of the film....but that wasn't in no part her, but just her recycled lines.

Megan, for me, has the potential to be a good actress. In the first film I liked her, she did the whole Teen Hottie thing during the high school bits, and played a convincing "Everything has gone to hell" routine during the showdown in the first films finale. Because she wasn't bogged down with lines meant to cater too much around the "strained relationship" dynamic as it was in "Fallen", it worked better.

As for the new girl, I fear her lines will be bogged down with such nonsense or maybe even worse in terms of feeling a need to outshine Megan. I will say I am happy they didn't try to recast the character, I prefer a new character all together. However honestly; comparing this Calry character against Megan can't be helped. I've already spoken to a few people, and they already noted a loss of interest in "Moon" due to Megan's lack of presence.

As for her moxy as an actress, I've yet to really classify her. She's been playing nothing but catty highschool characters for a good duration of her career, but she has a film coming out with Mickey Rourke (SP?) as well as possibly playing the next Laura Croft. She also has shown interest in adapting the late great Michael Turners "Aspen" into a film, so she has drive. As far as Moon is concerned, her presence would have certainly helped, and I think moon will suffer from a lack of it.

Wow, I actually read through this entire thread...

Anyway, I'm with Burn, based on acting ability (or lack of) I'll probably also be wishing for Megan Fox instead of Rosie. She looks better as well.

We still do that today...uh...at least I do. I've got to drive a great while to get there though, since I'm in "King James'" old stomping grounds.
But still, you get to relax in the warm weather while you do it instead of sitting in a dark cold theater. And those of my generation sit at their computers searching for images of "Miley Cyrus" and "Justin Bieber". Pfffft. What a sad environment I live in.

I know what would go good with that cookie though, some milk!

Oh, any further pics of Megan anyone feels like posting are more then welcomed. yay

You know, that other girl, Maggie (played by Rachael Taylor), seemed to be based off of G1 cartoon Carly. She was blond, a brilliant computer hacker, and a little older than Sam. Talk about dropping the ball by not bringing her back as the girl in this new film. They could have even made up a simple story about her name being a fake so that she could be Carly, or that she had to change her name to Carly because of her job and the secrecy involved. I don't normally like blonds over Brunettes, but she was much better than Megan Fox in all aspects. Such a shame... #-o
