Man, I'd love to see a cannon combinermaybe a civil war one. I do agree though, that 6 bots does seem unnecessary, and I still dislike the scale TFC toys uses. That leg looks taller than the Devastator leg, so how tall will this bloomin' combiner be?

Only one bot will make up Uranus' chest instead of the two that combined to make Hercs. I think that will balance out the scale.

Pretty much my thinking too. It's great that 3rd Party companies are making stuff to fill holes in our collections, even better when it's stuff that Hasbro doesn't seem likely to do, or at least to do right.
Problem is that they're competing with not only official releases but other 3rd parties, so whilst maybe there isn't anyone else making Aerialbots right now, there's a lot of other stuff that I'd like, and I prefer things to fit mostly into scale in robot mode. Maketoys did a better job of that with Giant than TFC with Herc (no doubting the imposing size of TFC's Devy is impressive though) and FP has done it better with the Crossfire sets for Bruticus and now the upcoming Stunticons. The prices on all of those are much more palatable as well.
TFC's stuff seems like it's good, quality product, but I can't justify their prices for something that doesn't fit in my collection as well as other, cheaper items.

I think you two nailed it with these comments.
I'll also add that the higher these toys grow and the heavier they get, the more structurally unstable they're becoming, especially for large combiners with complex, multi-mode transformation and relatively small, plastic supporting parts and gearing. At some point in time, time, gravity, and wear-and-tear will take a huge toll on these super-sized figures.

People..These are NOT...repeat NOT THE AEIRALBOTS/SUPERION.. Your right to say that 6 bots will not make up a Superion or Stunticons but these are NOT the Aerialbots nor will FP's take on the Stunticons , in fact be the stunticons..
Exactly, so...my counter-question is...
If they are "not" the Aerialbots (and not in the same manner as Herc is considered "Not Devastator), but as in, not meant to be a representation of the aerialbots at all...WHY DO I OR ANYONE ELSE WANT THEM?
Warbot Defender was my "Not-Springer"...Hercules was my "Not-Devastator"...but that was simply fandom jargon meant as a playful way of getting around a copyright infringement. These 'bots being "not the aerialbots" is a totally different tact...they are REALLY not the aerialbots at all...different jet models, 6 robots combining instead of five...not even accurate enough in my mind to act as stand-ins for my "Not Superion".

What offends me is that I keep checking this topic when it comes back to the top of the page expecting discussion or new information. Instead, I am met with "Your Anus" puns. Good job man. You are an asset to this forum.
