Looks awesome! Just doesn't look like Silverbolt and the Torso (other than the head) bares no sculptural resemblance to Superion... not that it all matters much to me as I agree with Rodimal: I'd be thrilled if they released one in military colors.

I sincerely love the FP crossfire upgrade they did for Superion maximus, and it's staying on my Classics shelf because it's still very good... but it's going into the back.

Just hope it's in G1 colors so I can at least pretend it's a Concorde. Not gonna bash the chestplate until I see it painted. Colors might be all it needs to give it that proper G1 feel.

Agreed. I recently aquired the Energon versions so that the FP set can become a new character instead of G1 Superion.

Sorry, couldn't help myself. Anyway, seeing the latest pics of the combined mode torso are kinda turning me off. Maybe it will look better in color, but I just don't like the way the stealth bomber/fighter's wings look as chest panels.

Damn that beautiful bastard! It's not that I don't want it, it's that I want to see more of it before committing. These mock-ups help sell it, but gimme some more colors and the other 2 molds. I usually but my standard "but not at that price!" statement, but the reality is we'll eventually be spending some big bucks for these guys.
I'm just trying my best to wait for the complete release and any subsequent fixes, unlike what I did for Herc.

Man this guy just got a whole lot harder to resist. Silverbolt is awesome. He looks like TFC took the Universe figure and slapped a Blackbird on his back.
As far as the X-45 goes, it's a little wrong. It looks more like the Sea Shadow stealth boat. With wings.
It's chest plate mode looks a little flat and uninteresting right now too. Oh well, will wait to see what it looks like painted.
Still scratching my head as to why TFC went with an SR-71 over Concorde but kept the fighters the same.
