TFC Toys Project Uranus (Superion) Updates
Re: TFC Toys Project Uranus (Superion) Updates
those look awesome, though i agree with the above-mentioned argument about the small foot peg.
and seems silverbolt is an SR-71! not a bad idea of them, since a concorde would be a lot bigger, scale-wise

Have to say, I'm disappointed that they are not keeping it original and going with a SR-71. I hope it's black and not white(I know, it would be further away from the original), anything other then black is not going to look right IMO.
If it's true that there is going to be 6, I would be disappointed again, there just not sticking to the original like they did with Hercules.
I don't like the blue canopies, why oh why don't they just make windows clear? It just kills me. Smoke color, but still transparent would be acceptable.
They kept enough similarity with Hercules to feel like Devastator, but was still a little different and fresh. Overall, I like the project, but my concern is in the end, Uranus is not going to feel like Superion.

Man I hope not, that'll kill this project for me.
I may even be pissed off enough by that to scrap Herc and get Giant instead.

If they simply change Silverbolt to an SR-71, that I can live with.
Not sure what color I'd want him though.

Well, the plane mode looks awesome, but I'm definitely not feeling a sixth member here. Of course I'm already lukewarm on the project ... 3rd party combiners are friggn' expensive and I already have a FP-upgraded Superion. It's not G1 true, but if they're adding a sixth member neither is this.

If the 6 member team rumor turns out to be true, I don't think it'll be my deciding factor whether I buy or not. However, I am slightly put off by that concept and was looking forward to a larger leader figure as the core of a combiner.
Anyways, just a rumor until we see proof. And remember how long it took for us to get the full view of Hercules, even when the first figures were already available for purchase!

Meh, the Micro combiner aerial bots had six members.
Won't be the decision maker for me, the looks of the others will be.
if I get a Voyager Space shuttle, I'll buy it, even if not the entire set.

The only saving grace is if the '6th member' is something made up of the combiner kibble...otherwise lolnope.
One a side note, why is TFC unable to get the effin' colors right? Granted, that's the least of this thing's worries if they have 6 bots to form Superion, but it's still annoying when they do so much right but then do something totally stupid and avoidable out of left field throwing an inaccurate color in there just to be 'slick'...otherwise known as douchebaggy.

I suspect you're right. I think maybe it will be a little ground tank type thing or something that the kibble combines into. I'm not opposed to that, especially if the kibble doesn't integrate well (or at all) into the planes' alt modes.
I'm happy with what I see so far and I'm in regardless of how all this speculation turns out. I love what they did with Devy and I'm buying this no matter what.

If it turns out to be a Kibble-bot, I'm OK with that.
I prefer integrated hands/feet but with a plane, integrating that stuff can be a lot harder than it was with construction equipment.

Hmm, will wait for proof of six members.
Not caring about scale since 1984. Just like Hasbro.

Six is fine. The Aerialbots have had other members in their team, such as Airazor and Barrel Roll.

Were 6 bots ever part of the combiner?

Well, if there are 6, maybe the SR-71 is not Silverbolt.

About the comment about having 6 members... This might just be a translation error. We'll have to let it play out first.

The kibble for this set looks to combine to make a 7th flying aircraft as well. If TFC is using this as the inspiration, it better make for 7 flying aircraft(s)!
What's odd...the 6th member of this thing just hangs off the ass of 'Superion'. But I suppose it makes sense since it has no business being a part of him, he's stuck hanging off his ass like a turd.

it'd be a bit strange if they did 6 bots. but I'm probably passing on this lot anyway. If they make the 6th one superfluous to Superion, then that'll suit most people probably.

Passing aswell. Looks great, but I need to save cash for more deserving cons, like Hexatron, and the Fallen, if they release already.

TFC Toys have now confirmed that their upcoming Project Uranus will indeed be comprised of six team members. How the sixth member will be incorporated into the combined robot remains a mystery, or perhaps it won't part of the combiner at all. As others have pointed out the Aerialbots have had additional team members in the past, most recently IDW's version featured the short-lived Barrel Roll.

I'm not sure about a 6 bot team but I'll keep my mind open to see what they do with it. Though, it may put me off being an early adopter if we don't get a look at them first.
