You can also swing the shoulder wheels back to hide behind the shoulders, since G1 Runabout didn't have his wheels exposed in Robot Mode. ;)

Minutes? more like blinks of an eye. It's a dirty ploy by TFCC to split up RAB&RAM but they know they will make some serious coin..Im greatful I can get at least 1 of the 2..I scored 2 Punch counterpunchs when they were the club exclusive and the process for getting those was a nightmare. Be fast and be vigilent, they will sell faster than the blink of an eye!

Do they at least give some vague idea of when the exclusives go on sale or is it like a random Tuesday at 3:47 and if you don't happen to be near a computer you're SOL?

PCP took 5 days to sell out if I remember correctly.

Ramjet sold out in 24 hours.

So, a LITTLE longer than "minutes" but we understand that it was quick. We are significantly upping numbers for Runabout...

i'm not interested in runabout nor runamuck.

Because I've already 2 of this mold in wheeljack & tracks colors/persona.

Having 4 colors/persona's of this mold would be extreme over kill in my book.

If it was another 2 Autobots getting this mould then yes EXTREME over kill but its 2 Decepticons finally getting this mould and 2 characters that would probably never see the light of day which makes it more desirable and they will look excellent as a pair.

Extreme over kill was the 2.0 SS/SS/RA/CP mould all Autobots.

Thanks for the info, Pete!

Any chance you'll be going with a preorder system of Runabout before finalizing production numbers?

You all need to do pre-orders for Runabout.

If you don't, it's a matter of negligence. People are looking to get a pair of these figures. One or the other is simply not going to cut it. If you don't shift the burden of responsibility to the customers via a pre-order, you all are asking for a lot of angry people when those official orders come down and sell out in a few short days.

Could anyone please tell me how much the price for Runabout or postage to Australia on him would be? If you cna preorder him and he's a reasonable price, I may just subscribe...

Throwing around a word like "negligence" makes the assumption that we have not looked at this from all angles...

Do you think the vast majority of people would be ok with paying for these 6 months in advance? Other options would be to have them pay a portion up front, but this also gets sticky.

I have already stated numerous times we have upped our initial order, and that can be altered further if need be. LAST THING we want is for everyone NOT to be able to get one of these.

Though I did always want them made from the classics BB mould, I have to say that I'm loving the look of R&R so far. 2011's Botcon and club exclusives were, IMHO, a varied and accomplished selection - and what we've seen of next year's exclusives bodes well for 2012!

I've always been turned off by the rather expensive international membership but I, for one, have faith that the TFCC guys are doing their best to avoid the situations arising in previous years and am seriously thinking of joining for 2012...

Well, that's good to hear.

But to be honest, every other online business seems to find a way to manage pre-orders effectively. When the method of online ordering has not truly improved in the seven or so years the club store has been in business, then yes, the assumption is that from a business practice standpoint, the Club is not looking at this from all angles.

Further, I think that if you can have exclusives sell out in under 48 hours, if people are willing to pay 3-5 times the cost of a retail figure, and if other online retailers can ask customers to pay upfront, then the Club can too.

To be absolutely frank about the sticky issues of maintain orders and stock, especially where pre-orders are concerned, your business needs to step its game up. What you refer to as a "sticky" issue is nothing more than any other business has to address in the normal course of events.

Without asking for kind consideration from your customers, look at things from the other side of the table. You're obviously a savvy collector and someone who cares about the product. Can you honestly say that if you were not involved with the business side of all this that you would be happy with the method of online commerce the Club provides?

I'm sure you think I'm a dick. But getting upset about this kind of stuff isn't a matter of trolling or harassing you or the Club. I've been a member since day one and I've been a member with continuous membership since then. I'm invested in seeing an organization that will cater to fans where Hasbro can't.

If you all would just take a few steps towards openly and actively fixing some issues, it would go a long way on the good-faith bridge.

The difference from many other online retailers is they are ordering from a wholesaler or from another shop, then doing a slight mark up. We are ordering directly from the manufacturer. We are ordering in relatively high quantities. There is always a risk.

Ramjet is the first toy that we had that sold out in crazy time, and that was still 24 hours, not the 5 minute horror stories that have plagued other companies.

But again, we ARE upping numbers but at the same time, we do NOT want these in stock for weeks on end. We want these gone pretty quick and everyone that wants one to get one.

Feedback is fine btw. No worries...

And actually, I forgot the BIGGEST issue...

We have to call the numbers in probably a month. No way to know final price by then. No packaging. No price from Tomy-Takara.

So again, just not possible at this time.

For anyone who isn't happy with the Wheeljack backpack on Runamuck and Runabout, TCC retweeted this on their Twitter feed earlier: http://www.twitvid.com/KI6PZ

Try it on your own Wheeljack or Tracks and see if you like it enough to change your mind about wanting the pair.
