When I read the headline on the front page, and saw the picture they chose to match the head line, my first thoughts were "I like where this is going..."

I'm sorry to the people who preordered him and are disappointed, but this is hilarious! So small a head, such horrible paint job, really bad mould on the autobot side. Wow. The size of the head really gets me. This is awesome, makes me glad I don't do exclusive preorder toys.

EDIT: Of course, there are still dozens of EXCELLENT exclusive preorders out there, but this is just... wow

Stop being an ass.

We already essentially know that the paint markings are a way to blemish the figure so that it won't sell. Much like when they partially melt a face to prevent test product from being sold. The paint isn't the issue.

That will be fixed.

The issue is whether that's the final head sculpt/size.

CounterPunch

Thanks for the positive reinforcement about C/CP, cause i need all the positive feedback i can get, since this is my first exclusive figure i decided to get.

Yea, don't worry about the paint, that's not an issue at all.

I had the same question. How DO the hands work?

You have to pop them off and swap them.

The hands are easy to pop out and swap on that mould, the worry for me is the alternate leg transformation on Punch. To get the lower legs that way on and still have functioning knees you have to unscrew the lower legs and swap them out, and to get the figure to stand in that configuration you need to shave quite a bit of plastic away from the inside of the trunk/lower leg. I did that mod to my U Sunstreaker to differentiate the twins a bit more and I can't see how it'll work as part of the regular transformation on P/CP.

Missed the boat on this guy anyway, so if it is a major issue when people have this in hand I can probably manage to not feel too bad about missing out (or not finding myself paying way over the odds on the after market).

I'm sure somebody's going to tell me I missed something obvious when fiddling about with the mould before modding 'Streaker but it was the only way I could see to get the alternate leg config.

The best about this is the Spotlight image, Beetlejuice FTW!

The head does look pretty small and disappointing I'm somehow glad I didn't have the cash at the time now which is a true shame as the body is just pure awesome.

With a better paintjob Henkei Classics or Universe Deluxe with nice packaging to do this guy right. And less expensive because it's should not be brought out as an exclusive at all. All sentient beings have the right to own a G1 looking PNCTRP.

Except if Takara did release a version there's a good chance it would be some type of exclusive for them as well. Just like Thrust, Dirge, Thundercracker, and Skywarp and they would end up costing just as much if not more than the TFCC version.

My apologies, it wasn't my intention to laugh at the people who purchased this, I was laughing at the figure it's self. Also the association with the tiny headed dude from Beetlejuice tickled my funny bone, so to those people insulted by my post, I'm sorry, but I enjoy my humorous imagry and feel the same about the images as I had when I forst posted my laughing fit.

Also you should notice this line in my post: "I'm sorry to the people who preordered him and are disappointed," So be sure to read it all next time eh?

No, it doesn't work that way. You can say something, it can be something offensive or not, but you can't make your statement absolved of any wrong doing with a precursor statement like that.

I think I would have let it go too if it weren't for this little defensive jibe here at the end.

Nothing about your post was so complicated or special as to require further in depth reading. You were acting superior because you did not buy the toy and from the pictures we found, it appears that the toy will be somewhat inadequate.

Now, we have received a sample but it is not a final sample. We try not to show samples that are not final. The pre-orders were sold out before we even got the early sample.

Once we have a final sample we will show it.

Well, that's vague. Doesn't really say scrap about the size of the head.

That aside, the fact that this isn't the final paint job should be blatantly obvious and I really can't see why so many people are focused on that. :-?

Well this might still be the final paint job, remember Nightbeat?

And I do believe that this is the final head in paint and size, if it weren't they would give us a straight answer and not choose to respond the way they did.

Wouldn't that mean that this is still not likely to be the "final sample" which was referred to?

Well, at least Nightbeat didn't have heterochromia. And really, TFU makes him look allot worse than he actually is. I've gone through allot of their galleries, and most of the time it looks like they always get the "last chicken in the shop."
