I finally hit 600 figures actually it happened much faster than I thought it would.I took a head count I was guessing I was around 600 when I counted 634 and #635 is on the way in the mail (Titanium Cheetor).I was like damn my collecting has picked up in pace and didn't realize it.Should I be happy or sad I spent so much on it all?I'm sure by the end of summer Ill be at 700 easily but space is getting tight I need to start planning now on where there all going to go.

When you do a count, do you count figures you have 2+ times as 2+ figures?

Just curious.

also how do you count minicons and the combiners?

I have different colums in my list (done in Microsoft Excel). One has a total of individual figures, one is a total of packages and one is a complete total (number of duplicate figures).

The older copy is at http://www.aboleth.net/kranix/toys before I added the column for total number of figures (including duplicates).

I think it starts on the misc tab (at the bottom) but you can click on the Transformers tab.

When I count mine if I have two Jazz figures whether they're reissues original or what I count as two TF.I count mini cons and micro masters as individuals.As far as combiners I only count the individual figures I don't count the combined form as additional figure.This where some don't agree I count head masters as two,only reason being because if I have to hunt them down separately I'm still searching for two bots.I also don't have many head masters so it dosen't really take up a large part of my collection.I also count micro master bases as one figure there technically not figures but they are a separate transforming entity.(I also don't have many micro master bases.)I would say its safe to say that most people count target masters and power masters as two unless like double dealer I count as three since he has two nebulons.

I down sized mine by making an A & B list.

I give away some of my B list to a good cause,

there are some in my A list that I know are not
essential, but they are just not ready for me to
let them go yet, but after some time, they will be
in the B list.

ok I understand how you collect. I dunno I am weird in a sense, because I count minicons as either one of the whole(bigger bot he came with) or either in groups of three that they came in.
As far as any of the MASTER robots, I completely agree they should be counted as seperate individuals because I am still pissed that I lost my Hi-q to powermaster prime and I refuse to pay that kind of money to get him again.
Actually I will say I need to change my counting style to yours, it does make more sense than my system. So going by that I should be in the 350-400 range myself.

Personally, I count Mini-cons and Nebulans as individuals. I don't count the likes of Roller, Slammer or Energon Primes 4 drones.

I also count KO's once they actually look like an actual Transformer KO. But only if I don't have the original.

I have the original Combaticons and oversized versions but I only count the originals.

I have a KO Slag but not the original so I do count that KO.

Also, Pretender, Energon and original Starscreams all get counted individually.

Including KO's, I have 720.
