I realised I dont like drawing transformers (because I can't )

First (and possibly last attempt) of my namesake Protoavis (techno-organic cheetah/peregrine falcon fuzor...yes it's all about speed)

Strange. It has a very alien/egyptian feel to it. Like SG-1's worst nightmare.

I tried a Cheetor/Airrazor Fuzor last year but went with a much more traditional design:

Pretty much just ripped off Tigerhawk, but made it more effiminate as I figured Airrazor would be the dominate personality.

Strange. It has a very alien/egyptian feel to it. Like SG-1's worst nightmare.

Techno-organic transformers all look kinda odd and alien, the body is mostly ripped off of Snarl (a lion).

I think its awesome what you did with the face though, fuzor tend to have one or the other and that bugged me so to see a mix is awesome. She looks super similiar to how how protoavis would be in a more traditional beastwars form, feet would be switched around, but super similiar. I like it a lot.

You definately nailed the Beast Machines aesthetic, and now that you mentioned it I see Snarl. Gonna try a kitbash sometime? Looks plausible.

Reminds me how dissappointed I was when they brought Silverbolt back as just a bird. A TO Fuzor would have been spiffy. You never really appreciate the lame gimmicks until they make a show without them.

Silverbolt had a pretty good mix going on, but Quickstrike... What the heck was going on there? And Tigerhawk just looked like someone ripped Tigatron's face off and glued some random feathers on.

I envisioned him as being a truck like Powermaster Optimus Prime. He would still transform into a version of Optimus but the trailer would become his "apex" armor giving him a more (energon) Galvatron look.

First chick needs a faceplate photoshopped in, and the skin patches made black or silver, as the body is more than enough to convey the femininity. Also, the... um... exposed Genetic Exchange Port is... tacky.

Second chick looks like a She-Ra villain. A bad@$$ She-Ra villain, but a She-Ra villain nonetheless.

And I love Mimic's face ... now to work out how to some how kitbash that ....

I hope I don't sound silly, but what's a kitbash? And thanks, I try to do my pics as best as I can. I'll try and do something that isn't chibi in future (chibi is just easier for me to draw sometimes )

Kitbashing is taking an existing figure and modifying it to improve it or create a new character. Generally the figure has to be modified for it to be considered a "kitbash" otherwise you've just got the good ol repainting.

If you've got links to your work feel free to add them to the HMW Creative Thread.

Over the years we've had a number of people come up with different interpretations of their characters from fanfics to drawings to kitbashes/repaints to digi-bashs. So add your wares!

I had three just arrive today actually.

One is a planned kitbash for myself (one that's been long overdue) and another is a suprise for another HMW player.

As for the third, buggered if I know what i'm going to do with it.
