The KO Terrorsaur mold is awful, TBH. I'm going to need to go back with the dremel or an exacto to remove some of the plastic and part of the metal pin at the end of that long post the pterodactyl's head sits on, since it won't clear the opening and as a result, Windy can't stand upright in robot mode without leaning on something... >>;
Yeah your work is good so take that.Kalon wrote:Windracer wrote:(Crappy) BW Windy Kitbash Alert!

1.) That is not a crappy kitbash. You do some fine work there Windy. So stop this 'crappy' tagging of your work. This is a well done and clean looking redo.
2.) KO molds are hard to work with. The plastic is rarely as good, and pulling of something this good is alone an impressive feat.
So there.

I do wanna try a BW Raider kitbash somewhere down the line, who's basically going to be a remold of BW Megs... (though no tail-hand. I'm trying to figure out how I could attatch the Dino tail to his rear end but still have him transformable, and where I could get a spare arm...)... I just wish there were some oversized BW T-Rex Megatron KOs out there, since his alt is a Giganotosaurus, and that's slightly larger than a 'Rex...

If you can get your hands on BM T-Wrecks (or another one if have one already), that might do ya.

I doubt he's much, if at all, easier to find. My suggestion is to use the Cybertron Jungle Planet Megatron: cheap, available, and the tail already comes off. Unless the Transmetal look or deluxe size doesn't work for Raider.
There is also the Beast Wars Op vs Megs TRU exclusive 2 pack. But unless it is clearanced, that's $40.

Another possibly good find (though it might be a little too mechanical for a Beast Wars character) is Classics Grimlock, since he's become a little easier to find lately.

I was too lazy to get up and move to take a decent photo.
