Those are great recolours, OS; I'd actually like to see Hasbro release a Waspinator mold in that "Starscream" deco. ;)^

Been awhile since I've had the time to post anything in this thread but with V2 coming up, I've been in the process of re-writing my team bios and such. The first bio sheet I've finished...

Sources -
"Chillout" - Micromaster Barrage, Don Figueroa, DW G1 MTMTE Volume 1 TPB
"Persuasion" - Headmaster Stylor, Don Figueroa (I think), DW G1 MTMTE Volume 1 TPB

I've posted the Chillout recolour before, but Persuasion is new (thanks to Whisper for the Stylor scan) and the bio is all new.

Thanks you Scantron for using something other then the "Dreamwave Bio format" for your character. That old DW format is waaaaaaaayyyyyy over used.

Well, I finally decided to sit down and do some drawing after a while. So here's what I came up with for what -Maximus Prime- will look like in V2, pending his reformation into a Peterbilt:

Sorry for the poor quality of the pic, but I don't have a scanner in my dorm room, and I don't feel like going to the Student Computing Center to use theirs right now :oops:

Well, since you asked so nicely

Problem with the scanners was the image that was coming out was pretty crappy. So I'm going to ink the drawing first, then I'll rescan it on my back from my last class, then I'll repost it. So be patient, I know all of you are aching with anticipation

EDIT: Ok, let me just say this: Halo 3 is very distracting :lol:

But I have gone ahead and inked it and I will get it scanned sometime tomorrow.

Looks good, Windy, though a bit more beefy than previous versions. (Not that there's anything wrong with that, I just thought it was worth noting).

Haha, thanks. As for the buffed-ness, that was kind of my intent.

This time around I wanted to get away from that graceful, elaborate slender design and give her a somewhat buffed "asskicking", no-nonsense look (yet I still fork it up with the insane amount of scales and little spikes...). XD

I do intend to fine-tune it a little, though. Something in the chest plate area just bugs me and I figure I should tweak that a bit before I set in on doing the linework / colors... :-?

It's a good look. And the scales and spikes are a good thing, stop her looking too plain. As for the chest I think that carrying the scales over on to the chestplate didn't work as well as it could have. Add in what looks like mock-pectorals underneath and it looks a little odd. Maybe just simplify that section a bit.

The dragon and bot are fantastic Windracer. But the Jazzhands avatar trumps it! New here "blah", and loving the site full of model makers, artists and writers and this funny little game.
My boy has a dvd of beast wars stuff, but i dont care for it. He likes but he is 5! lol. After seeing the movie i ended up here and cant imagine a better website. The designer should be a pro (if he isnt already)
I am thinking of doing bios and drawing my own characters and stuff. I like the robots i knew as a kid but cant draw them for fig. I love to draw dragons though. I just wish i could draw as well as Windracer.
Can i use your drawing? I mean can i and my boy colour it in?

I must admit, I'm not too proud of how he turned out. I think I could have done it better. But then again, this is my first attempt at drawing him and he doesn't have a vehicle mode that I can look up and use as a reference, so I'm still impressed with how it turned out.

Another thanks goes to Whisper for the great custom editing job.

Upgraded parts include Max symbol, Window decal, hood vinyls and shoulder "tattoo"

Burn is seriously annoyed!

As far as i'm concerned Bludge is finished. So earlier today I took pics of him in his dino mode, and given the heat and stuff I decided to leave his robot mode until later.

So later comes along. I go to transform him and suddenly one leg is in one hand while the rest of him is in the other. The goddamn joint had snapped!

No problem, it was still relatively intact, it's fixable but hey, why fix a knock-off joint when I have a junker G1 original with even more sturdier parts?

I dig it out ... low and behold, same leg, same snap! ARGH!

So now i'm hoping that the repair will hold, either way he can stay in bot mode (as my kitbashes do anyway) and hopefully get some pics.
