And we only had one continuity for Transformers, and that's all we needed..... Well okay, we actually had two with the cartoon and the comics..... all right, three if you want to get all nitpicky with the UK comics, but that's all we needed AND WE LIKED IT!

I'm 33. Yes, you are.
Yeah, until you actually turn 18, you're still a child. I have a few years to go. Too bad those years be filled with pain and torment.

You have no idea what dial-up sounds like until you're actually forced to use it.

Play Boy is probably the most well known pornographic magazine in North America.
Back in my day, everyone knew what an issue of Play Boy was.

They always did that. They give in to anyone who complains about their copyrighted material being used.

That's not a law. In fact, that's the opposite of copyright law. The laws protect the copyright holder, not the kid who's trying to give it away for free.

Oh my I remember those days when I felt so much older because I was almost an adult. You are a child and do yourself a favor and enjoy every second of it, you will never get it back.
I remember the day we first got dial up internet access. We thought it was so neat how we could instantly email someone. We heard rumors of a new type of internet that was super fast but laughed at it saying yeah right.

I can remember as a kid one of my uncles being so excited to turn 18 and be able to legally drink. We still lived in Chicago then so I am not sure if the US government or the state government changed the law to make the legal drinking age 21. I just remember he was so upset he would not be grandfathered in and my 19 year old uncle making fun of him because he would be and therefore still able to legally drink.

Awww bless your little heart.
Unless your parents are arseholes, enjoy those years, free board, free food, you don't have to think for yourself, you go where you're told when you're told, you can wag and the worst that happens is your parents get a phone call from the principal - do it too much as an adult and loose your job, speaking of which, you dn't have to kiss your principal's arse, and you don't have to work 40+ hours a week, sometimes for poopy pay and as shift rotations, and the only bills you have to worry about is the five bucks you spent on some questionable phone service.
Just wait till you notice grey hairs, stiff joints and bills that are clocking up interest in the hundreds each month.
Of course, blowing your disposable income on toys from your childhood is a plus... of course, come 20 years, I doubt you'll want a spongebob re-issue.

Back in my day...
-the music was so bad that I only listened to music 15+ years older than I was.
-Kit Kats and Hershey bars were wrapped in foil.
-gasoline was less than $0.90 a gallon, then all of a sudden it was $3.50
-Cartoon Network was only worth watching for several years...then it went downhill
-there was dial-up internet
-Apple computers only had several colors and very pixelated imagery
-NASCAR was actually entertaining. Then Jimmie Johnson and Kyle Busch happened...
-Cleveland sports teams still sucked
-we had a TV with antennas and no colors
-I wouldn't have to explain what an antenna TV was
-we used fax machines
-I also would not have to explain what a fax machine was
