Dudes!! $20 for that Optimal. I think they were $17 new back in the day. Still need the father/son photoshoot to happen this weekend.

That was a fun shoot trying to get the Unicron heralds balanced on that dome/curved underground propane tank lid. Thought the battle scared metal had a nice contrast for them from that angle. Maybe the result of an orbital strike?!

Seriously though, I can't put him down, or stop transforming and posing him OR flying him around in Arwing mode!! But when I do stop, he's just awesome. It's the Galvatron I've always wanted!! Can't wait for the ReproLabels that'll be announced soon I'm sure, with at least tank wheel stickers I'm sure (like that Asian TR wave 1 set)

He's in artillery mode on my nightstand right now.

Ordered some more ReproLabels tonight, the set for Six Sigma to match Metroplex better, a set for CW Cyclonus, and another set that I can't remember currently. I'll edit when I do!

EDIT: Actually that's the only two sets I ordered!!

But yeah, the robot mode from the front does look perfect and if his transformation is less frustrating than Appolyon (who just copies MP 05) then I would be quite frustrated. I dont mind 3p, as I do buy them, but the idea of spending 150 getting a toy that will be obsolete the next year is really not appealing.

Those panels suck giant balls. And I never did get replacement pieces to makes those inner panels less loose. They still flop around.

Just curious guys, is this titanium figure seen as an update to the original toy? Because that Cheetor is and it's supposedly the best BM cheetor out there.

I feel the same way. He is a really fun.I also like Sentinel Prime a lot, he is a bunch of fun to convert to all modes back and forth.

You know what's really funny? I don't mind the backpack!! I feel like just about every Transformer I have that I enjoy has some sort of backpack, and somehow they are solid and fun to play with and, of course, transform I'll take that one backpack over all of the extra panels on Apollyon.

I'm ok without the beast mode, he also has an Autobot sigil instead of a Maximal one! He's a pretty good figure, sorta floppy, but more solid than Titanium Rodimus. WJ, I never even noticed that there was a Cheetor from that line. Looks like I'm headed to the Galleries!!

I'm prepping Apollyon for eBay. I love him, never had the issues others complained of, but Mightron has those alternate facial expressions. I'm on love.

While I do like Despotron, I think if it came down to it I'd choose Mightron. I actually like the blockiness of him! I'm about to prep a bunch of stuff for eBay which MAY include Apollyon, time to start moving things out! Getting ready to re-paint the house and I may build some display stuff, and what doesn't fit my head canon needs to go. Which is a lot of stuff.

So that was kind of fun. Thought I'd bring along some Generations tiny guys (Scamper and Nightstick), my CW tiny guy in Minimus Ambus, and all the Titan Masters I currently have! I Repro'd a few of the TMs already, and Nightstick definitely needs a Decepticon sigil.

My wife and I found this new show called Sense8 by the Wachowskis and she wants to watch it all the time but I just want to get away to play wth my little guys too! I now have most of them but I havent ut them all on my Blaster Base yet.

I saw an amazing mod somebody did over on the TFW2005 forum (Not sure if it is Ok to reference other forums yet, or if thet are "the enemy" as I am still new to the culture). He took all the kibble off the legs. Took a part out of his upper right shoulder too to add articulation. All completely reversible as it's all screw based.


I have no idea what the etiquette is of reposting someones elses pics but I thought it was a cool self mod.

Welcome CptDraco! You did your leg-work in referencing from whence the picture came, I think that's all anyone cares about I had my Apollyon sans-kibble for a while, and then like a fool I put it back. I'd like to see how empty the gun mode looks with all the extra kibble gone.

Well to be fair Appy's alt mode doesn't look right to begin with. I mean it looks nice but anyone that knows guns will tell you that it NOT a Walther P38. in fact I couldnt tell you what it was supposed to be if I didnt know. The only one that looks like a Walther really is MP-5. But then we aren't in this for the alt mode so much when it comes to megs are we? Thanks for the warm welcome, William.James directed me here, great thread. I am searching for smeone looking to let go of a used Apollyon cheap, but I content with just getting to know the crowd. Totalt culture shock for me. I live in a small town and now suddenly I am not the only transformers geek I know! So happy to be here and soak up knowledge.

I won't be replacing Appy unless it's with an official Megs, and he's still my favorite of the three. But between the two newbs I'd go for Mightron. He's really clean looking

Yeah, I'm talking all this nonsense about replacing him, but the only thing I'd do is sell him and deal with CW Megatron as a stand in Takara is all I need for an actual replacement.
