Not at all actively hunting, just waiting..I bought Mirage at the end of last year, and that was the first purchase of an Alternator since SDCC Rodimus from HTS!!

You know who is the worst? Optimus.

My apologies for not answering this yesterday in my post!! I think Trailbreaker looks good, but I reeaaaaaaaaaaaaally don't have an attachment to him to WANT to order a 3rd party version. I mean he was cool in like 5 episodes of G1, and if Takara makes one I'll buy, but overall if you like him buy him!! I wouldn't knock it, and I'd be a little Jell-O. ;)^

he looks so good. itll be even worse with my new lightbox pics. hoping to order him today. in hand is good so far. sorry about derailing your thread a bit.

i go alternators prime from a flea market and he is bad. gave me the worst expericence with them.it was a junker but it still wasnt a good figure. but that windcharger does look good. got anymore pics.

Unfortunately for me, I bought him at retail! Transformed him back and forth a few times thinking I did something wrong somewhere to make him not stable. Nope, par for the course. Wouldn't return him though, 'cause then I'd want to buy him again I'd wager. Looks pretty nice as a SRT10 RAM though!!

Haven't taken any more pictures of Windcharger (henceforth known as Overdrive), but he's actually pretty nice to transform!! Car panels are functional body panels, looks good in both modes, tidy's up nicely! Seibertron probably has some better shots than I do..Still not sure how the Hasbro version ended up with the head he did if he was supposed to be Windcharger and not Overdrive. :HEADHURTS:

I actually disagree. He isn't great, and I certainly didn't like him at first, but he really grew on me. I find his only issue is posability, much like Prowl. Only Prowl DIDN'T grow on me :lol:

First was the Hasbro, then I got the KissPlayers. It was a strange time, I'd have rather bought him in Diecast BT form rather than a second all plastic version, but the BT line was in question at that point so I just shrugged and bought the creepy girly version. I was kinda bummed to see a BT diecast one later on, but wadya gonna do.

Incidentally, my 3rd one was the SDCC Nemesis Black Convoy Scourge Prime, whom I absolutely adore, and looks FANTASTIC with the pink/black surfboard sword that came with Creeper Convoy. ;)^

Nope, the stupid Hasbro version lost the driveshaft portion that should be the barrel of the gun so that's how I have it.

But seriously. He falls over entirely too easy. Like he got shot. You know how he flailed back after being shot in TF:TM? That's what Alternators Optimus is every time I stand him up. Arms flailing too, he just channels the TF:TM and starts waving his arms wildly whilst falling backward. It's hilarious. I'd try to record it, but it would be like Baby Groot and Drax, you'd never see him move!!

Also, everyone better go see Guardians of the Galaxy, Volume 2.

Back on topic..is your SDCC Nemesis Prime secure in his joints? Prime wouldn't be so bad if he was, but the way the knees are I'm not sure floor polish would help. I'd be better off dropping in some black paint, at least if it scratched it would still be black and not the flakey white that happens with the floor polish.

Also, did I tell everyone I inadvertently finished the Main Quest in Breath of the Wild?

Well, I inadvertently finished the Main Quest in Breath of the Wild. Avoid the "Sanctuary" until you want to finish the Main Quest!! Happily it creates a save point (now highlighted with a little *) right before the final battle.

SO MUCH MORE LEFT!! I'm around 80 Shrines (out of 120), 80 Korok Seeds (out of 900?!), 40 out of 70ish Side Quests, 30 something out of some number of Shrine Quests. My Hyrule Compendium is probably 10% complete!! I'll never finish :lol

So here's some alt mode stuff..

That giant arm sure does clean up well. And the Mechalive gimmick in his torso when rotating his lower body and the arm spear extension is super cool!! He can also fire a missile, which I always appreciate.

Gated gameplay I'd imagine. I've had a few rare games where it was like "oops, I just beat the game" 8-)

Gated gameplay, meaning once you start something you're locked into it? Yeah, that's what happened. I guess I could've paused and reloaded a save point, but I wanted to see what it would take. Turns out, quite easy. Kind of can't fail..

Yeah, RotF Megatron beats DotM Megatron. Which is why he was used for Movie the Best!!

That cloak really hinders DotM Megatrons' posability, and when you remove it, he just doesn't seem complete. Although he wins the backpack round. It's weird, there's things that tab in on DotM Megatron that DO NOT want to un-tab, and then there's joints that are super loose. Paint vs no paint I suppose.

I do like how RotF Megatron looks like he's covered in knives though :lol:

He does LOOK more Megatron-y. Two actual hands, a fusion cannon on his arm..it works. Not knowing how to explain RotF Megatron makes sense, as he was an amalgam of parts from his original form and other robots. So, bag of knives that forms a tank/jet hybrid works for me :lol:
