Same here. My heart was set on G2 green, and honestly their layout doesn't thrill me. Too much grey/silver

Specifically, Megatron was obsessed about ridding his form of all organics, and it was troublesome for him to do so. When he finally succeeded, what was created was (what we all call) Megahead and Savage/Noble. Problem was, Megatron's spark ended up in the wrong body. The pure organic form has two names because the Maximals didn't know they were the same entity, and Megatron fooled them into helping him get his spark out of that body and into Megahead. However the sparkless organic body was still alive. It was essentially a mindless beast, but wasn't evil, and was Nightscreams BFF

It's been a while since I've watched that whole series. I need to do it again. Probably one of the best pieces of TF fiction ever. If not the best?

Yeah..that G2 green woulda been SWEET, but I still think it would've worked better on CW leader Megatron,
who is still one of my favorite toys!

On Friday, I bought someone new!


And then I built him!! He's awesome!!



Had a pretty awesome weekend!! Saw the LEGO Ninjago Movie, enjoyed the weather, good times! And, picked these up.


My little mini-mechs look great together!!


And then I decided to tackle a project I've had for a while. Here's the result!


Wow. CW Optimus Prime is presentable now!! And look at Optimus Jr. just hangin' with pops!

A few issues. His hip rotation (forward/backward) is horrible now. Super super super weak joints. I knew they were, now they are exaggerated. Topping it off, the head of one of the screws for the pelvis is stripped so I can't get in there to add something to make it stiffer. His A-stance is also horrible, but at least I can click out one leg and rotate the other just so and he stands very imposingly. His elbows are weak and he can't hold the gun straight out. One of his antenna is loose. The kit FEELS great. I'd say it's the best feeling kit other than those hands I picked up for Metro and Fort Max!

Truck mode looks awesome too!! It's not that bad to transform actually..

He sure does look good!! I just really need to fix those hips, and I haven't figured out how after rounding the screw head

Yeah, LEGO has taken over my life! That KRE-O Shockwave is pretty awesome, I may need to pick up the rest of them that I saw (Megatron, Grimlock, Ironhide)!!

I was initially turned off of these kits because it seemed like SO much work. How was your assembly experience?

Shaj, assembly was easy with the right tools!! Didn't use a hammer at all, I picked up a pin-punch from Amazon a few months back after I knew I was buying the kit (wait, that was like last year..). I actually wouldn't mind MORE kits like this!! There was a planned kit for CW leader Megatron that I have no idea what happened to. I follow the thread over at TFW but nothing has posted in quite some time.

What?! AoE was LITERALLY a snoozefest for me. I fell asleep at least 3 times attempting to watch it. This one? I didn't even get up to pee, and I had a LOT of water.

Looks pretty good! I never got the red Prime, so I couldn't do it, and I like BC Prime as he is. Plus the combiner thing is really finnicky, or at least Emgo made it look that way

I haven't even attempted that mode yet. I'm waiting until my Nonnef hip ratchets arrive. Should be in a few days hopefully!
